- RHRacheal HiltonOct 22, 20251.0Was very nice and respectful at first then they let the car lot take my vehicle without it being fixed Mary said that they showed her papers for the car but the papers didnt match any of my information except first name the last name ,address, dob,drivers license number, nothing matched so why was my car removed from Gerber by mistake because I have same first name as the person who's car shud had been removed now Mary tells me after having my car there 6 days and not even begun to touch it says they will not fix it now because a mistake made through them and the car lot im very upset and will be contacting a lawyer for pain and suffering this is not ok

They did the estimate, Geico approved it, and we told them to go ahead with the repairs. I was told the parts may be backordered, and I understood the issues with that. I called every month since then for an update, but the receptionist there always gave the same backorder explanation and said she would put a note on "Joe's desk" to call me with an update. No one ever called me back. In month 2 and 3 I even told her no one had ever called back. She didn't do anything to escalate the issue to get an answer - she just kept sayin "Oh, they're probably backordered". The person I needed to speak with was never available. I found out today that Joe was never given a note about my calls. I finally got an update today, but I had to jump through hoops to get it. I hope thing will be resolved satisfactorily from this point. It's sad that I had to put a complaint in with Gerber Customer Care to get any answers. Terrible communication.
