I recently needed an economy rental car while my vehicle was being repaired and ended up at the Hickory, NC Enterprise branch (the Granite Falls location was booked). The staff deserves an A+: they were highly professional, fast, helpful, and the facility was immaculate. They efficiently handled the paperwork and got us on the road quickly. However, the specific car I received, a new base model Mitsubishi Mirage (approx. 15k miles), was a significant letdown. The driving experience was poor. The engine was noisy, road noise was excessive, and the brakes felt worryingly soft, pushing nearly to the floor before engaging. I strongly recommend choosing a different economy car, such as the Chevy Spark, if you rent from this class. Highly recommend this Enterprise branch for service and staff; just request a vehicle other than the Mitsubishi Mirage!
