After accidentally order the parts online and having sent to the wrong store, somewhere in Illinois, they helped me contact the other store and cancel the order and were able to get my order from their shelves and get me back on the road just before closing for the day. Until recently I was a loyal customer to the other big box auto parts store down the road. After I found out they had price matching and with the knowledge at this store I made the switch and I’m glad I did, otherwise I’m certain that I’d not gotten the same customer service from the other store. - HHHunnyBunnyMay 27, 20255.0So I wasn't necessarily a customer but on Sunday May 25th of this year my boyfriend and I went to a relative of mines wedding and we ended up having a severely flat tire that's been needing replaced on our way home so we stopped here around 5:58pm to try and get help pumping up the tire enough to get home. One guy working (I sadly don't remember his name) was extremely friendly, quick to help and overall amazing, he had blond hair and a blondish beard, he was slim and average height, he was an incredible person. The guy helped us pump up our tire and sprayed some tire repair slime to help keep the air in long enough to get home and even gave us some of his own change in case we needed to stop to get more air in the tire. If I am ever in Hickory again and need to stop at an Auto Parts store I'm stopping here! I wasn't even a customer but instead a person in distraught and he jumped immediately to help my boyfriend and I, that showed true kindness, customer support and overall compassion as a employee and as a person! Thank you so much to that employee who did that! You were so kind and helpful that we will never forget it! I hope your manager, hr or any hire up of yours sees this and knows who I'm talking about because you deserve a raise for going above and beyond!
