  My wife's Jeep was in an accident, and we had it sent to the Gerber facility here town. I checked on its progress regularly. The left shock was damaged in the accident, and I asked for the Right shock to be replaced also. When I went to pick up her Jeep, I had a $403.00 dollar charge for the shock. I felt that was a little much and just let it go for the moment, so I could pick up my wife's Jeep. I went to the dealership for a unrelated question and asked for them to pull up the shock and the price. The price of the shock was $78.00 out the door. When I called the shop, the person I spoke with informed both me and the parts manager, that we didn't know what we were talking about. I informed him that I verified the part number off the shock they installed and the one the dealership was showing me was the same. He basically told me we didn't know what we were looking at and that he could show me the invoice from their supplier. Honestly, I don't care about the invoice, I asked for OEM replacement parts and that is what they said was going on there. So if the dealer is charging $78.00 for the shock and I asked for OEM parts. What did they purchase? Not OEM that I can see. I also found multiple hardware pieces loose. I am somewhat OCD, so yes, I check behind them on everything that was done. The loose hardware is one thing, but charging me almost 4 times the dealer price, that is theft in my book. I would not recommend this shop to anyone, for this very one item. I am giving the very same review on of the shop on google.
