- DMDenise McMahan4 days ago5.0I was having battery problems so I went in to have mine tested on my 2017 Nissan Altima. A nice young man came out and tested it. It read that it needed to be charged. I decided since the battery was 5 years old I would opt for a new battery. He was so patient even though it was a pain to get it back together. He had to get 2 other people to assist him but finally got it fixed. I am very happy with the result. These people are top notched I would recommend them to anyone that needs a battery.

Witnessed employees (two older white men) being hateful to a Middle Eastern customer who was looking to purchase a battery and was confused about a core charge fee. I was treated poorly as well, workers were not friendly nor courteous. I am a young (female) adult and I do not know anything about cars but I went in to purchase a headlight. I was spoken to like I was stupid and like he was frustrated that I was in the store. I do recommend going someplace else if you want to be treated with warmth and kindness.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
