  We've been stranded twice by this location now within the last 6 months despite having a reservation both times. We don't visit GSO frequently, but if we had any other choice of rental car we'd choose them. When they have no cars available you're forced to wait at the airport until a car shows up or until the next morning without a bed or shower. I feel bad for the employees who are forced to stay late when this happens. To get to Winston-Salem a taxi is $90 at 1am, but that would require you to cancel your pre-booked reservation or to return the next morning for pick-up. National and Enterprise should not allow more reservations to be made than they have cars available. If this happened once it could be a fluke, but twice is just bad business.

  I have used the competitors before but for the last 4 years National has been the go to without fail. Although was only one rare occasion that I couldn’t get a car but staff worked as hard as they could to satisfy the need for a car. No other car rental will do. Kudos to GSO Staff!

  I would like to thank Quinton for the exceptional service he provided when I returned my rental.Also would like to mention that when I went to get my rental Chauncy was able to give me an upgraded car as they didn’t have the one I booked. On the whole a very pleasant and awesome experience at the Greensboro Airport with National Car Rental.

  Be careful using this company. I dropped my car off in the evening. Handed the lady the keys to the rental. The following afternoon a woman calls me saying they see the car in the lot but they can’t find the key. They then charge me again for THREE DAYS I didn’t have the car or the keys! They changed my reservation even though I turned in the the car and the key. I wish there was some accountability but there isn’t. It’s sad because I’m an Emerald Club member and have used this service multiple times. But it’s not worth the possibility that they can change my reservation and charge me for a car I don’t have because one of their employees lost the key. Save your money and time and rent somewhere else.
