- RBRobbie BrownOct 25, 20193.0Just had the driver seat of my 2006 Chrysler 300 repaired from a two year old patch repair and reopened tear that was soon to get worse. It should be noted that as excellent shape my car is in, I don't mind saying how a*** retentive I am about it and what is done to it. A word of advice it may cost more to have it professionally done, but it is certainly worth it rather than having a conventional patch job. Although the work was acceptable the cost was a little on the high end but they were most accommodating to my needs and worries, and it was done within a half day and got my car back. The only drawback and disappointment I would say is that the material they used was a dull fabric rather than one with a natural sheen like the rest of the cushion, and you can notice the difference. Using Armor all or another sheen type product does not work it just returns to being dull. The upside is that it is repaired with hopefully with no more tears.
