  The gentleman's name was Willie that took care of us like he was just an incredible guy. Grrrrrreat customer service ,really good with people and really took his patience in time with me explaining me what was wrong with my vehicle and had me in and out in less than 15 minutes. I think Wood also brought me a great comfort as today's day age when it comes to mechanics and leaving your car with people and you hear the worst in everybody when it comes to that part of the business, but I will tell you my experience changed just the opposite of coming here and having Willie take care of us. What a cool cat!

  Got my oil changed and an inspection done approximately 6 months ago. I was called about 30 minutes later after dropping it off to someone mumbling about how I needed all of my filters changed. I was 100% taken advantage of simply because I didn’t understand what needed to be done. My total was over $500. Fast forward to my next oil change where I went to take 5 in Goldsboro. They pull out my cabin filter that is crumbled and broken and not put in properly from the crappy work that was done at grease monkey. NEVER GOING BACK. They will take your money and add on unnecessary services, espescially if you don’t know the “lingo” for getting services done on your car.

  I've come to Retrolube/Grease Monkey the past 3 years for my inspections and oil change. The staff are always very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. The manager Willie looks out for his customers. They have inside and outside seating while you wait. They also provide entertainment with good Ol Andy Griffith on the tube and a popcorn machine while you wait. Only downfall was for all my services, it was quite expensive...but that's inflation and not the fault of the business. Everything is expensive these days. They do offer military discount!
