  I took my Volkswagen Taos to Valvoline for a simple oil change, and it turned into one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. The customer service was absolutely pathetic—staff were careless, unprofessional, and clearly uninterested in doing their job right. To make matters worse, they didn’t even reset the oil change sensor, which shows a complete lack of attention to detail. When I brought it up, the manager was dismissive and offered zero solutions. No accountability, no effort—nothing. On top of all that, their prices are higher than other places, which is honestly outrageous considering the terrible service. Save your time, money, and frustration—go somewhere else.

  This place changes managers like I change socks. Every time I take one of my cars there they are under a new manager. The one they have now don’t even give the discounts that the other ones did which reward you from bringing all of your vehicles there. They need to do better on teaching people instead of letting them walk away. I have been coming here for 5 years or better and it’s time to change up and go somewhere that is better organized.

  I’m not a very happy customer! I go to this Valvoline location all the time. I consider myself a loyalty customer. But today was a whole different experience. I walk in happy needing a simple state inspection. I was told by the lady that everything passes but I will have to purchase new windshield wipers in order to pass. Why??? I just bought those a few months ago. She tells me that they are poor quality. But you sold them to me!!! Looking shocked, I get told well they don’t last long, especially if you keep them in the sun. Which I don’t at home just out in public places. It’s $28 a piece or I can’t pass you. So now I have to buy them. So how long are these going to last. She tells me that the previous ones I bought are crappy cheap and they don’t even sell them anymore. So less than a year I’m forced to buy new ones from the same place but assured me these should last longer. Bull crap! I don’t get offered a discount or some type of percentage off, or anything! Just a sorry. These should be better… So my $30 inspection turned into a $100 one. Then as I’m leaving my oil light sensor was never fixed. I got my oil changed there last month and they never reset it. I asked if they could do that when they checked the inspection. But they didn’t. So I go back in to ask if they could do it, the lady says where did you get your oil changed at. From here… Last month! I’m so not happy. I have been coming here for years! Now I don’t want to ever go back! No customer appreciation. I feel worthless. Like all my business just doesn’t matter.

  This was my first time going to Valvoline Oil Change and I really liked that they made you feel like they were glad you were there. I was there for an oil change and got my wiper blades changed also. They did a thorough job and explained things as they went. I will definitely be going back for my next oil change!

  Went for an inspection and thought it would be reasonably quick because when I pulled up there was only two cars in front of me waiting and one went in the bay a moment after I pulled up. I waited in line an hour (just one car in this line in front of me and waited an hour) as I watched lots of cars that had just pulled up behind me go into empty bays and then leave in a timely manner as I was still sitting waiting in this line. There were at least 5 cars that pulled up after me go into bays, get serviced, and left as I sat there in this line waiting. Lots of employees just standing around and sweeping floors. At one point it looked like the employees and supervisor were arguing. Seems like one bay was just being used for oil changes and everyone else had to line up for anything else at one particular bay. But there were 3 bays just empty at lots of points with a group of employees standing around while everyone else was waiting for the last bay. Very confusing and frustrating. I had a toddler with me and I waited for so long that I had to leave before getting serviced because it’s a half day at my kids school and is almost time to pick them up at this point and I didn’t know if it would be another 20 minutes or another hour or what. It’s pretty frustrating waiting in line and watching all these people that came after you get serviced and leave as this is a walk in place with no appointments. I also saw the people in the bay I was waiting on were having to leave their vehicles and wait in the waiting area. I didn’t want to do this as it was raining hard and I had my toddler with me in his pjs. In the past I went here and had my inspection done quickly and got to stay in my car and that was on a busy weekend morning. Not sure what the heck was going on today. I didn’t want to have my toddler wait any longer and risk being late to pick my kids up from school or have to get out of my car and be soaked, as they were having people exit cars outside of the bay instead of having the person pull into the bay themself and exit the car. Very weird set up today. It would have been nice if an update or an estimate of time was given for the few cars there waiting in this line for so long.
