  Not reliable service. We showed up to pick up our rental car this evening only to be told they didn’t have the size vehicle we reserved. We had this reservation booked for months and had no notice prior to pick up that they were unable to fulfill our reservation.

  Sometimes they have cars. Sometimes they don’t. It doesn’t matter if you have a reservation, they will still just deny you a car and blame their computer system for allowing too many reservations. They also will not give you notice that they aren’t going to give you a rental. You just get to show up and find out.

  I rented a van from Enterprise and unfortunately had a concerning experience. The vehicle we were given had expired tags, which we didn’t realize until we were already on the road during an 8-hour trip with kids in the vehicle. When I called the Fuquay-Varina location, the employee I spoke with didn’t seem concerned and even gave me a false name, so I’m not sure who I actually spoke with. I also contacted customer service. One of the ladies I spoke with did try to help, although I don’t remember her name. When we returned the van, the staff kept saying the plates were “in the mail.” I would’ve been understanding if the situation had been handled more professionally, but the staff were joking about taking $5 off, which felt dismissive given the situation. The only person who seemed genuinely concerned and tried to help was Jalen, and I appreciate his professionalism. Customers shouldn’t be put in a position where they unknowingly drive a rental vehicle with expired registration.
