The oil pan bolt and the oil filter were torqued on so unnecessarily tight, it was ridiculous. No mechanic should be incompetent when it comes to a simple oil change. I’ve done a lot of oil changes on a lot of different vehicles and never have I struggled this much or had to use three different methods to remove an easily accessible oil filter on my own vehicle.
