- GGGregory GreenSep 19, 20255.0I dug a 42 foot trench to put in a French drain. I bought a half ton of #57 stone at another dealer. It took me 2 days to wash and shovel and it was still full of silt. A friend told me about Kosters. Almost 1/2 ton and, as my mother would say, " clean as a whistle". I got home at noon and was finished shoveling at 1:30 with a tiny amount of silt on the bed of my truck....and....same price!!!! Koster's for me from now on!!!
