I was a member for a little under a year, until recently, when I was out of town for a few months, so I discontinued temporarily. I planned on restarting over the holidays (not a chance now), and just went by for a quick wash on November 25th around 3:45pm. It was a negative experience. I bought a basic wash, so I wasn't expecting my car to look like showroom quality once it came out, but after going through the wash, there was soap still on the back window, and a lot of the panels still had visible dirt on them. It didn't look like the brushes fully did their job. No big deal, I thought, I'll just ask the attendant if she could run it through again. Upon asking, I was told that was not possible without paying again. I was surprised to see this was the case, but I suppose it's understandable if the lower level employees don't have the ability to initiate free washes in this manner, to prevent abuse. So I instead asked if I could simply pull up and, without going through the wash again, if we could just use the hand sprayer that the employees use before putting the car through the tunnel. While I wasn't thrilled there was still visible dirt on the car, I at least was hoping to get the remaining soap off the car, and the hand sprayer could have accomplished that in about 5 seconds. I was met with an apathetic shrug and no help with even this small request. I was furthermore not offered any sort of guidance on whether I could contact management or file a support ticket on the website to try to make it right, etc. -- nothing. I just generally got the vibe that she didn't want to deal with me and that I was interrupting her personal cell phone time. At that point I left. I ended up hand washing the car myself, which defeated the purpose of going to Zip's. I requested a refund through the app, and that was a total waste of time. They made me spend 30 minutes of time writing out a support ticket to describe the issue, only to inform me that refunds can only be granted at the location of the wash. Why is it even a support option in the app then, if you can never be given a refund through the app?? Literally a waste of my time to try to use the app to address this issue. It also would have been nice for the employee in the office to inform me of this when I complained. But again, she seemed way too engrossed in her phone to help out a paying customer. Finally I tried calling the physical location and there is no way to reach a manager; just some more phone menus to navigate and a generic call center that simply tells me to go back to the location and complain. The only way to get a refund is at the location itself. Yeah, I'm not going to spend 60 minutes going to the physical location trying to get a $12 refund, which I don't even trust they would grant, based on what I've seen. Maybe they could use this new invention called email to deal with customer inquiries and issues, so people don't have to drive back to the location to deal with these headaches in person. It's probably by design that they don't make it easy to reach management, so we wind up just giving up and they keep the money. Just a terrible experience with this company, and from what I'm reading in other reviews it seems like the Forest City location is possibly the worst in the franchise. Hope they enjoy my last, single $12 patronage. As I mentioned, I would have re-upped my subscription now that I'm back in town, and paid them more than that every month, indefinitely. But not now. Best of luck with that business model.

Too often I visit Zips with high hopes and leave disappointed. Upon entry, the attendant presoaks half of the car, not troubling to go around to the far side. It’s not uncommon for soaps and waxes along the track to be out. I’m going to cancel my membership and try the competitor down the street.

Went to the car wash the last week to try it out, I live locally and haven't tried this one out. Got up to the payment box and a lady came out. Asked the prices she told me I said the 18 bucks one paid for it then asked her about the monthly one she said special on 18 a month for a certain time. I was so mad she didn't start out with that. She acted like she didn't care at all that i just paid for a single and could have got a monthly. Got up to the girl to spray soap on the car she sprayed off half the front window and sent me through the wash, not sure how much she sprayed down the side. My experience with Zips was not good. Might try it later to see if it is the same, will update this post later.

Do not waste your money here … their most expensive wash is $30 and it’s half the job you get at the one by Walmart for $20

Tried this car wash out several months ago and forgot to submit a review. Reasonable price for the basic wash and the detail area was well equipped. Highly recommend; will use again.
