    National continues to set the standard. Selecting a car at Raleigh Durham was quick and easy and by far the best selection of cars I have ever seen. Drop off at Asheville was easy and when the agent and I engaged, he was able to lower my charge. Wow! When does that happen.

    The car itself for a rental was fine - clean and had a full tank of gas. But the interactions with the employee at Asheville Regional Airport was one of the most unprofessional interactions I’ve ever had with someone. My rental was scheduled for 7am pickup. With the remodel of the airport, and by the time an employee came to the desk, it was 7:40am. I start to walk up to her and she immediately goes “I’m not ready for you yet”. I’m the only customer there. Once she’s ready, she says “license and credit card”. I hand them to her and expect a rundown of the costs since I booked online and was told there would be an estimated $168 charge. After a few moments, she hands me my items back and the rental keys and says it’s in a green space in the parking garage. I then see my credit card had a $568 charge and I ask her about it and she said there’s a $400 deposit. That would have been no problem if she would have disclosed that with me upfront.

    Noah the manager was amazing at communicating prior to pick up and Ray made the pick up so easy. Drop off was just as friendly and easy. Loved our Wagoneer for 6 adults and over 6 bags.
