If I could give Apple Tree Honda zero stars, I would. I paid roughly $3,700 for a window and sliding door repair on my Honda Odyssey, and what should have been a straightforward repair turned into months of frustration that is still not resolved. After the repair, my vehicle was returned to me with broken glass still inside the door, under the seats, in the cupholders, and throughout the interior. This was even acknowledged by the service advisor in a handwritten note stating the vehicle needed to be vacuumed — but it was never done. That leftover glass later damaged my window tint when I rolled the window down. From there, it was constant back and forth. Missed calls. No follow-ups. I had to chase updates myself. I even left work early to bring the vehicle in after being told to do so, only to arrive and find nothing had been prepared. I spoke with the Service Director, Richard Lupo, who told me that I was responsible for cleaning up the broken glass inside my own vehicle. That alone should tell you everything about the level of accountability here. I eventually had to escalate to the General Manager just to be heard. At that point, I made it very clear I wasn’t asking for money — I just wanted the vehicle properly finished and someone to acknowledge what happened. Now here we are months later, and the vehicle still has adhesive residue left on the exterior from the repair process. I’ve sent photos. I’ve followed up. And now I’m being told by management that the issue is “closed and fully satisfied,” while the problem is still visibly there. Let that sink in. A $3,700 repair. Multiple return visits. Safety issues with glass left in the car. Damage caused after the repair. And months later — still not resolved. If this is the level of workmanship, communication, and accountability you can expect, I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else. I gave them every opportunity to make this right. They chose not to. Take your vehicle elsewhere. Smh 🤦🏽‍♂️

One star for the car itself and not for the dealership. Regret buying the Honda Odyssey. The 10-speed automatic transmission is rough, jerky, and unpredictable. Took it to the dealership, and while they recognize the issue, they say it’s “doing what it’s designed to do.” If that’s true, then the design itself is a problem. Definitely not what I expected from Honda.

Made a recent purchase at Apple Tree Honda, and I got to say, it was the BEST experience I have had at any dealership. Angelo went above and beyond to assist with everything I asked for. The manager on site was equally a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience. I highly recommend visiting Apple Tree for any car needs you may have.

This is concerning the service department! When you can get them to do the work. It’s usually pretty good work, but I don’t think that there’s any excuse for not calling back a customer when they’ve left 4 messages. What a shame it hurts your rating and the customers who won’t deal with no return phone calls. You’ve already have a problem with your parts department now your service Department is not responsive. Customer service is really low at this particular dealer

They charged me almost $300 for an oil change and a transmission fluid change and mind you - my car was working just fine before I went to my appointment. I spent that money just for my car to start having issues right after the service. It now shakes when it starts and vibrates for a good 5-10 seconds. I called them and told them what was going on and they had me come in. I was then told that my car was great although there was a funny noise but all of the levels and everything were just fine (remember that) They told me I needed to pay another $220 for a diagnostic that doesn’t even go towards the issue with the car and then was told that if i didn’t want to pay for a diagnostic or the possible issues that they think it could be which was a $2,500 repair AND. a $4,500 repair that I could go buy a new car but make sure to put my service advisors name on my paperwork so she gets something out of it.First of all, my car is only worth about $9,000 and has high mileage, they know I will need a new one soon and it made me feel very prayed upon. A day goes by and the shaking continues so I start doing some poking around with my partner and we discover that the coolant level is almost flush with the hose, it’s non existent. Remember, Honda looked at my car TWICE in a span of two weeks and both times said my levels and plugs and hoses all looked great. I was livid when I saw there was virtually no coolant - it was below the minimum line by a few inches, we put it in and the car stopped shaking, so I called them the next day so I could tell them all about my discovery. Called the GM. He didn’t pick up so I left a voicemail and a call back number and it has been about 6 days now and he still has not called me back. I have been going here for over 3 years now and I have spent a lot of money and have been a very loyal customer. It is a punch in the gut just for them to act like my safety and my car didn’t matter. They want to act like I am made out of money when I have tears in my eyes as the service advisor tells me to write her name down when I “go buy a new car in the next few days and make sure I call her with my decision.” Funny enough, I was poking around again last night with my partner and just looking at other causes for shaking and rough starts or idling and the PCV Valve kept coming up so we watched some videos and did research and saw the people in the video pull out this valve and they stated they were really dirty with just a few spots of oil on them. We also read they should be changed about every 30000 miles or so. Well I had never gotten a service done for this; in fact I have never even heard of this part of the car so we decided to go check mine and see what it looks like and maybe if that was the issue. We had to pry this thing out of there, carefully of course but when we pulled it out it was black. It was so dirty and clearly hadn’t been even checked in a long time considering how guncked up it was. Needless to say I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service quality at AppleTree Honda and the lack of communication and care. It’s a shame because I love my car but I will never be buying another Honda as long as I live in Asheville due to their lack of care and I truly feel like a lot of my time and money has been wasted with them. Almost like they are trying to sell me issues with my car so I get a new one and someone gets a commission. That seems to be all they care about at the end of the day, money.
