  I bought a new tire from Amazon and it and had to have it put on. Everywhere I called wanted $35 to put on a $65 tire. I happen to be in Elkin and googled somewhere to get the tire put on. I had it with me. Mavis tire was the closest place to my location so I pulled in. They only charged me $25. The guys there were really friendly. They were really quick about it. I was probably only there 45 minutes or so. They did have other cars there and I did not mind the wait. But $25 to put on a tire after everybody else wanting at least $10 more and it was a $65 tire. I was really grateful and you can believe that I'll be going back to Mavis tire when I need something else. I do recommend them purely because they seem to be good people. If you know you know.

  Support North Elkin Tire & Automotive instead of Mavis. I mistakenly scheduled an appointment with Mavis, confusing it with North Elkin Tire for some stupid reason (I usually get work done on my car at North Elkin Tire and they've always done a wonderful job). Since the appointment was already scheduled, I thought I would give the place a try but should have canceled as soon as I realized my mistake. North Elkin Tire employs real mechanics that are not going to break things on your vehicle and then try to avoid accountability. I would also like to mention that an employee of Mavis was smoking a cigarette while actively working on my vehicle; this does not seem like very professional behavior.

  Very good and prompt service, I bought my car into them this morning after pulling sheet metal screws out of my tire and patching it. They were honest with me over the condition of the tire. I took advantage of the deals running this week and was able to score $50 off per tire matching competitors and beating a few on a set of Blackhawks. Service 10/10

  Store opened at 9am with only 1 employee present. Left and returned 2 hours later only getting 2 front tires and have been on the lift for 3 hours now with one new tire installed and the other on the balancing machine for 45+ minutes. Only 4 lug nuts away from leaving for nearly an hour. Manager been on phone or sitting on tires texting people for tge whole time never touching a vehicle.

  Just want to give a huge shout out to some pretty cool people Chandi,& Jill they were very informative and knowledgeable also let me go look at my own vehicle while it was on the lift, Because I had some questions about a noise and found out right away I needed 2 shocks so Chandi ordered those and they was delivered in minutes and they were installed and then put it on the front wheel alignment machine and ran the test. But then discovered that it didnt need any adjustment so even though the techs spent time hooking everything up to the vehicle wheels and ran the alignment test to see if it needed an alignment and after it showed that it didnt they took off the $119 charge which they found a coupon and it was only going t o be $84.99 but saved that because they are honest with their customers,Which who dont like Honesty!!! Chandi & Jill are some cool people! Stop in and check them out!!
