- LLLisaMar 12, 20261.0Total rip-off!!! I called the day before regarding an oil change. I told him that I use synthetic oil and he quoted 109 and said there's coupons on the web. Next day, I go in for the oil chain and mentioned the coupon (probably shouldn't have said anything). Checkout, I'm told it's 135 which was even more than the price online. I was never even consulted to see if I wanted to proceed with the oil change. Previously, I had vowed never to use jiffy lube again due to them previously trying to upcharge. I took my car to the dealership and was told none of that was necessary. However, I needed my oil changed due to a trip out of town. If additional charges are to be added, the customer should be advised prior to completing the service. Definitely will never use jiffy lube again. I definitely was overcharged for an oil change. Scammers!!
