Disheartened, I turned to AutoZone, and there the scene was transformed. They were extremely busy, but once it was my turn, Carlos couldn’t have been more helpful. He was awesome—knowledgeable, professional, and really went above and beyond. He even went back into the store to grab the battery tester to double-check if the battery was actually the issue. After some consideration, I decided to go ahead and replace it even though it technically passed the test—better safe than sorry! Carlos was the best!! ⸻

    I had a great experience at the Autozone on Hillsborough Rd in Durham. I had to jump my truck off to get there but when I did Mr. Cedric came out checked my battery and it was bad. We went back in he helped me pick out and he came out and installed it for me. Everything was quick and easy and I'm back on the road again with a new battery and a 5yr warranty.

    I walked into this AutoZone to pick up a part that had already been paid for. Three different representatives told me that they did not have it. Then the Spanish-speaking manager walked up, told me that they did not have the order. He told me to calm down-I’m sorry but if I just paid you $300 for a part and you told me it was being held for me-then you should have told me that. I will NEVER visit this location again. The absolute worst customer service experience. The manager CARLOS was very rude and treated me like I was less of a person due to me being a female his attitude and tone changed when I handed him my cell phone and demanded he speak to my husband. Then all of a sudden-my husband provided them the same information I did-miraculously someone found the order we had already paid for. This will be our last purchase from any auto zone company! AVOID this location-especially if you are female.

    I would like to say that Hunter Hillard at this location is a diamond in the raft. Besides this gentleman providing me with EXCELLENT service. I had the pleasure to watch him at work. While helping clients in the store, when he was done doing that, he was giving the same respect to the customers calling on the phone. I have been doing business with Auto Zone for a while,and let me say when I call the other locations on the phone I wait for someone to come back to the phone for a long time. It almost makes you feel like they are doing it on purpose. Auto Zone this gentleman represents what Great customer service should feel like when you enter into a store to do business. This kind of service is what you would spend your money on and keep on coming to this store. Auto PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS GENTLEMEN, because great customer service is hard to fine. Thanks, Hunter, for the experience. Always shine like a Diamond that you are. And never let no one make you feel different.
