I came in to buy a battery for my car, and the cashier tried to give me every reason not to spend my money. His reasons were: * "If you don't have a battery to recycle, you're going to have to pay extra." That's fine; it doesn't change the fact that I still need a battery for my car. * "I can't loan you any tools, and I'm not installing the new battery." Fine, whatever. I still need to buy a car battery. * "We are about to close." I walked into the store at 8:08 PM; your store hours are posted nearby as closing at 9:00 PM! At this point, I was no longer interested in using your service. It was clear your cashier had no interest in leaving his stool to help me. My expectations for customer service are pretty low. You tell me the price, and I pay. That's it. I don't require much of anything, and Advance Auto Parts failed spectacularly. The bright side: I took my business down the road to AutoZone, and they sold me a cheaper battery with no issues. So thank you, Advance Auto Parts, for directing me to a much better auto parts store. My wife has also had to deal with very poor customer service and refuses to return there under any circumstances. Today, I've decided to follow suit.
