Went here in March 2022 to buy a new battery and purchased the 4 yr warranty. The GM apparently either entered it wrong and couldn't correct it or there were issues with the system, so my receipt only noted 3 years. She WROTE out on receipt paper that I PAID for the 4yr warranty and signed her name and employee number. THIS WAS AFTER LIKE 2HRS OF WAITING TO GET THE BATTERY IN AN EMPTY STORE. Went today to get them to honor this and the current manager immediately started hemming and hawwing to tell me they couldn't honor it. He initially pointed out the receipt said it was an online order and then was avoided when I corrected him twice that I never ordered online (I don't even know a thing about batteries, that's why I ended up at this store) He made it 1000% clear he knows who the previous GM was and suggested she was a bad employee (but made it to manager) and it IS my fault I accepted the written note from her. Not their fault for having a trash manager (she wasn't, the current manager is) and then just told me to call corporate\support (which was of course not open in the middle of a Saturday). Update: I got another manager's number and called, they said that battery doesn't even have a 4 yr warranty and that they wouldn't honor the note. Mind you, the exact item from my receipt is noted as having a 4 yr warranty on their website. So I will be contacting corporate.

I was stranded with a dead battery, ended up walking to advanced instead of waiting three hours for roadside assistance. The customer service was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted kindly, they offered to help me find what I needed, and the employee not only helped me pick out the jumper box but went above and beyond in assisting me with my situation, and I sincerely appreciate what he did. Next level customer service

The worst store in Durham but it's expected. No type of professionalism, culture, or customer service. When you walk in see the "supervisor", using it very loosely, with a stocking cap you already know it will be some BS. How you can't return a product to a different store how did that make sense. Beware and ride a few more blocks to the O'Reilly or good across the street to Auto Zone
