I’m giving this location 1 star because they consistently fail to have reserved vehicles available at pickup. This has happened 3 out of the 4 times I’ve booked here, whether I reserved a week in advance or the day before.
Each time, my reservation was confirmed, but on the day of pickup I either got a call or showed up in person only to be told they had no vehicle for me. The explanation is always different, whether it’s an oil change, a recall, or fewer returns than expected, but the result is the same: they do not honor reservations.
This location has left me scrambling for transportation multiple times. I kept coming back because it was convenient, but I won’t be using them again. I’d rather drive to Mooresville, Huntersville, or Cornelius and actually leave with the vehicle I reserved. I recommend others do the same.

If they have a car, Enterprise is ok. Problem is, you never know if they have a car. I had a reservation at Enterprise in Cornelius. They called and told me that they didn't have a car. My wife and I began searching for a car. She found one online at Enterprise Denver. At the same time I connected with Enterprise on the phone and they assured me that they had a car in Denver. We drove to the location. Upon arrival, there was a sign on the door that they were washing a car and would be back soon. While waiting in the office the phone was ringing continuously. Then a young woman showed up and said they didn't have a car. When I said that we had two reservations she said that the job of the people on the phone was to make reservations but they had no idea what if any cars were available. Seems like the best worst possible system for customer service. She said if you want to know if they have a car you should call the local office. When leaving, I called a number that I thought was the general number for Enterprise. I was on hold for 20 minutes and then the call was answered by the same young woman I just talked with. Yeah, call each local office and wait 20 minutes to see if they have a car. It's amazing a venture capitalist hasn't upended this industry.
This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had renting a car with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I made a reservation a week in advance, only to receive a call the day before I was leaving saying there were no vehicles available at the Denver branch. Later that evening, I contacted the Lincolnton branch and was assured a car would be ready for me the next day.
When I arrived to pick up the vehicle so I could leave for my trip, I was told there were no cars available—without any prior notification. Instead of offering a solution, I was simply told “this is how it is” and that nothing could be done.
It’s extremely frustrating to rely on a confirmed reservation and multiple assurances, only to be let down at the last minute with no communication or accountability. I’ve never encountered a business that operates this way. This experience was highly unprofessional and unacceptable.

I would rate - (negative) 10 stars if that was allowed. This is the second time in a row I reserved a vehicle at Enterprise and they did not have a vehicle available. I don't understand why their reservation system allows one to make a reservation when no vehicles are available at the site I need to pickup the vehicle. I attempted a same day reservation, placed the reservation at approximately 2:40 PM for a 3:30 pickup. Totally disappointed. These two incidents happened with 5 months of each other. Enterprise used to be my favorite. They are now my least favorite. I will not give Enterprise another chance.
