  The Service Team at Safelite was very professional and friendly. However, when I got in the vehicle, the heads up display was blurry. My displeasure occurred when I found out that Audi requires its windshield be installed not an aftermarket windshield. Safelite was aware of this but stated the insurance companies require them to install the substandard windshield. What a waste of time by Safelite and the insurance companies. What’s happened to doing right by the customer? I pay enough in insurance premiums that this should have been handled correctly from the start. Greed is consuming the insurance industry and quite frankly I’m tired of it. Common sense has definitely gone out the window!

  This review is for the Safelite Concord, NC location. I took my 2026 VW Atlas in to have the windshield replaced. The person that installed it did not center the windshield as the photos I uploaded shows. I took it back to the shop to be centered correctly since it looks terrible, and there is a warranty for workmanship as well as functionality. I was told by the manager it calibrated correctly and was in specs. I DON'T care if it passed, I want the windshield CENTERED as well. The manager berated me, and said it could not be centered. He finally agreed to reinstall it, but sarcastically told the installer to take it out and push it to the other side. I told him I didn't want it push to the other side...I wanted it centered. I called the warranty department while still there and spoke briefly with them about his attitude and the situation. I tried to hand him the phone, but he pretended to be busy with the office lady--who, was just as rude as he was--before he decided finally to take the phone. He proceeded to tell the warranty personal that it was in specs and was only a millimeter off center. Upon hearing it, I had to say no, it looks ugly and it's a new car on which I hadn't even made the first payment. It is shoddy workmanship. My advise to anyone considering having a windshield replaced here is to run, don't walk, and find another more capable and caring installer! The warranty department set me up for the windshield to be centered at another Safelite shop

  Worst experience with windshield repair! My daughter and I dropped her car off 10 mins before our appointment. The front office receptionist told us it would take 30 - 45 mins to repair the small crack in our windshield. We decided to run a few errands and when we returned 40 mins after dropping the car off, the receptionist communicated that she forgot to hand over our keys and repair information in order for the technician to begin. In addition to our appointment being delayed by 45 mins, the technician communicated that during the repair, the crack extended a bit. Although there is a risk during repair that the crack with extend, it was not communicated that it extended at least 6 inches. This was the worst customer experience.

  We had a mobile appointment the other morning and we have some concerns about the technician and the work. The technician was vaping in and around our vehicle. I have a video of it that I have sent in an email. Secondly the wiper cowl does not sit flush with the windshield and has many knicks cut out of it. I am attaching pictures of that as well. I have sent 2 emails to customer support with no response, not even an automated reply.

  I used them a few years back for my Pilot, everything was smooth but they sold me wipers and said "they're good for life, you can bring them in after six months and replace anytime" Came to find out, either that employee was poorly trained or that was just a lie/sales technique. I called after six months and they said I was wrong and they cannot replace them for free. Earlier this week I called the corporate like to schedule a repair, less than 24 hours from my repair date they emailed me saying "we cannot repair anything larger than a quarter/half dollar coin" after the rep on the phone said anything that is under the size of a dollar bill would be able to be repaired. Like most large companies this location is just looking to nickle and dime everyone and get the most out of insurance claims. I am excited to work with a local company near me
