- CCCaptFinnMar 31, 20261.0This shop replaced my valve cover on my 2001 Toyota solara. Around 3 months later I’m getting a diagnostic for a check engine light and i learn my car still has a valve cover leak. So I call express and the employee agrees that it should fall within the warranty 12 months or 12000 miles. THEY DENIED THE WARRANTY because the other shop performed a diagnostic on the car. This job cost $1200 bucks and because the other shop smoke tested it they don’t wanna fix it. It’s ridiculous. It’s clear this shop will do anything to weasel their way out of doing things the right way. They are willing to ruin a relationship over $30 in seals and an afternoon of time imagine what they will do when the parts is several hundreds or thousands of dollars. Stay far away.
