    Nothing worse than an “ai customer service” answering device. Takes customer service out of the equation. Couldn’t connect to a representative for a quick question the ai couldn’t answer. Had to wait for a call back? Was trying to decide where to get my car washed today. I just wanted to know if they had air compressor instruments for dust in the car. The ai couldn’t answer and said I had to wait for a call back. Having someone answer the phone eliminates this.

    I’ve been a loyal Take 5 customer for years and even maintained a monthly subscription until this experience. Immediately after exiting the car wash this past weekend, I noticed a crack in my windshield that was not present before entering. I reported it promptly. Despite having camera footage at both the entrance and exit, Take 5 refused to share or allow review of the footage, while simultaneously claiming they reviewed it and concluded the damage was “pre-existing.” That conclusion is speculative and unsupported, especially given that the footage they rely on is withheld unless subpoenaed. They also dismissed my claim by stating that no other vehicles were damaged that day, as if isolated incidents are impossible. Anyone with basic reasoning understands that a single vehicle can be affected by debris (especially when entering behind a large truck with an open bed) without there being widespread equipment malfunction (which was their reasoning for denying responsibility). What is most disappointing is not just the denial, but the way responsibility was avoided through blanket statements and speculation rather than transparency or customer care. No partial resolution, no goodwill gesture, nothing after years of paid loyalty. I canceled my monthly subscription immediately following this decision. I’m sharing this so others are aware: if damage occurs, expect zero accountability and no access to the evidence used to deny your claim. Customer loyalty clearly means very little here.

    They can't even answer their own phone. Their AI ivr system can't transfer calls to a human. Why would i want to go someplace to clean or work on my car which can't be contacted in an emergency and seemingly has no real phone lines?

    It was a great experience that kept the car clean. You do need to wipe excess water out of the crevices but that’s what I do anyways. Good service from the technician.
