Matt is absolutely amazing. Came in as I had a vibration in my car- he drove with me in my car felt the vibration walked me through everything going on and how and what parts were failing and needing replacement. Highly recommend this shop. Don’t loose that man as he really goes to bat for his customers and cares. I appreciate all the help!!!

I came in for a brake job, inspection, and tire rotation. The work itself was fine, but the communication and alignment process were frustrating. My car was supposed to be done at noon, and when I had not heard anything, I tried calling but their phone system was down. I eventually got a call from an unknown number saying the car was ready, but when I arrived it was still on the lift and the staff seemed confused. I approved an alignment they recommended, which ended up taking about 45 minutes. When I picked up the car, the steering wheel was noticeably off-center. I brought it back, and after another adjustment, it was still wrong. The second time around the guy brought me to my car to make sure it was “up to my standard”, as if having as if having a straight steering wheel is a luxury. They told me their machine often has issues with “foreign” cars like Mazda, Kia, Lexus, and Mercedes and sent me to another Mavis with a different machine. I went straight there and waited over an hour. I finally asked if my car was getting in, and they told me it would not be going in for a while and they closed in less than an hour. I asked if the first location had explained the situation and that I was told I would be driving right in. They were shocked and said they were doing that location a favor and were slammed, so there was no way I would be seen quickly. We talked about the alignment issue, and when I told them what the first shop said about certain brands having problems with their machine, the tech was confused and said he had never heard of that. Do not go to this Mavis.

Extremely helpful everytime I go to a Mavis, and this location is no different! I just needed some tires which is just a quick service. Matt went above in beyond to not only put air in my tires but educate me on knowing how much I need and where to look for that information

As I was en route to Walmart today, I heard an unusual sound coming from one of my tires. Luckily, Mavis happened to be conveniently located to my left, so I decided to pull in. My two children were with me, and upon inspection, we discovered a substantial bolt embedded in the tire. Despite it being close to Mavis's closing time, I was apprehensive about continuing to drive. James, who was at the front desk when I entered, promptly offered his assistance. Even though I was frustrated, he remained very calm and polite the whole time. He examined my tire but was uncertain about the necessary repair. He then consulted with another associate, Deja, who confirmed that he could resolve the issue for me. James advised that it was unsafe to drive, so they quickly attended to my vehicle. Within approximately 20 minutes, Deja was pulling my car out for me. The tire was sealed and patched, and we were able to resume our journey. I'm very thankful these guys helped us out because it was getting dark and I didn't know what I was going to do.

Finally got time to write this! Back in July when I needed to get my car inspected before the end of the month, I originally went to another Mavis location for the inspection. They told me something was wrong with my car's port that they connect to for readings, and that I would have to come back on Monday after getting it checked by the dealership. I had never had this issue before and I couldn't wait until Monday because my registration was expiring in two days. The guys at the 1st location I went to told me I could get a grace period for a situation like this, but I wasn't too sure on the validity of that. I decided to go get a 2nd opinion at another Mavis location, on Concord Mills Blvd., and the manager there explained to me immediately that something had been going on with their readers. She called the other location to try and get it sorted out for me, as I shouldn't have been charged once they found out that it was faulty equipment on their end. Unfortunately, however, the other place seemed reluctant to help me. It also seemed they were annoyed that I went to another location as well, but eh, lol. The manager at the Concord Mills Blvd. was incredible and got my car reinspected for free, only had to pay $6 for labor or something. Either way, I was relieved and grateful that someone stood up for me and I'll be coming back to this location in the future if I am still in the area.
