    I’ve always depended on Enterprise, but they really let me down this time. I reserved a pickup truck because I needed to transport three road bikes. A couple of days before my rental, they called to say they might not have any trucks and could offer me an SUV instead. That was too last-minute to make other plans, so I agreed. When I arrived, there were no trucks available and I was given a small SUV (a Jeep Compass). I had no choice but to take it and ended up having to buy a bike rack just to make the trip work. Extremely disappointed, it would have been much better to be told upfront that no trucks were available rather than finding out at the last minute.

    Most ppl leave reviews when they have a bad experience & rarely when it’s a good one. Well my experience started off rocky but quickly turned good. I appreciate their professionalism and how they were able to accommodate my rental size for me and my family.

    Had the worst experience I’ve ever had with enterprise recently at this location. I was having a serious issue with a rental car and this was the nearest location. I went in and told them what was happening which was that the brakes in the vehicle were not acting right and I didn’t feel comfortable driving. I was told that they couldn’t help me and I could either take it down the street to a garage and wait to see if it could be repaired or I could drive 40 + minutes to the airport where they might be able to help me. Absolutely unacceptable. As I’m not driving it 40 minutes to the airport I just parked it and am now taking Ubers. If you read this I am a gold level member who rents very often and you have lost a customer due to this location.

    Good service. Rented a GMC Serria 1500. First truck smelled like old motel room. Someone had smoked in the truck. Once we load it and ready to go. The "add oil" light came on. So we went back to the office and picked up another. This was far better and newer. However the bed had a layer of sand that was never washed out. So if I had planned to haul anything of vaule I would have had to stop and clean it out before I could use it. I recommend to check your bill to be sure it was correct. I was charged for having my wife as a second driver. When I challenged the charge they said they would take it off. Never did. It was $60. Not worth the hassle to get them to correct it. This location seemed to have most of the team that was new and in training. So that is why I didn't try to get it corrected.

    So if you’re planning on renting a car from any enterprise location, there’s something that you probably need to know. This isn’t something that I found out until today. When you book a car online, that means absolutely nothing. The system will allow you to book, even if there are no cars available. And, no one is going to call you to tell you that there isn’t anything available. You literally just show up at the location expecting to not only have a car waiting for you, but the class of car that you booked. I had a reservation for later today to pick up an SUV And I just happened to call the location that I booked at to see if I could come in a little earlier to pick it up and I was told “yeah we’ll see if we have any cars for you when you come in at the time you booked to come in at“ And I questioned him as to what he meant by see if they have any cars and he told me that they might not have anything. Not just that they might not have an SUV, but that they might not have a car at all. He told me this is how enterprise works. I told him I found it hard to believe that this is how enterprise is operating their business. Anyway, I called up another location and that person confirmed. Reservations mean nothing, and it’s supposedly very rare for them to have anything available to rent. So what exactly is going on here? You’re leading people to believe that you have availability based on the fact that you allow them to book a reservation online. Then it isn’t until they show up that you tell them you don’t have anything for them. People rent cars for lots of different reasons, one of which is because of emergencies. Do you really think that someone who is coming in at the end of the day to pick up a rental car in an emergency situation needs to show up only to find out that you have nothing for them and now it’s too late for them to even try Another rental car company? Could you imagine actually operating a business this way? Maybe it’s just the enterprise locations in North Carolina, and I guess we’ll find out because I’m going to file a complaint with the attorney general, because there is just no way that this is how people really do business.
