The gentleman that helped me grumbled some because I was not parked right in front of the store. (All spots were taken!) He checked everything and said his tool showed a bad starter. Recommended a mechanic who I go to already. All good. When he walked off I noticed he had not put the positive terminal cover back on. Love Autozone. Just the guy's attitude knocked off a star. Still recommend Auto Zone!

I asked if they need to know what kind of car I drove to if they could and I was told no it shouldn’t be an issue. I get there, we pop my hood and instantly get told they can’t do it. I drive a Lexus and there’s a cover they aren’t allowed to remove. Probably should have told me that when I asked on the phone! Won’t be going back!
- KKKenNov 30, 20251.0Went in to buy a container of coolant, guy at counter rang it up. I then asked for a plastic bag to put it in. He proceeds to tell me it’s “too heavy for a bag”. I said “can you give me one anyway?” Guy continues to lecture me on how the bag is just going to break. I then very loudly ask “can I PLEASE just get a plastic bag?” What does he do? Goes and grabs one and tears a hole in the side. I stared at the bag and at him and walked out. Should’ve returned it and just left. Didn’t realize AutoZone employees were not to be argued with over such a valuable commodity as “plastic bags”. Extra petty to tear the hole in the side over it too. I haven’t shopped here since and I recommend no one else does, otherwise you’ll run into the expert on what can and can’t be put in plastic bags.
