I returned to the shop and the store manager said that the district manager had to take a look at the camera footage. The district manager contacted me and said that he didn't see any damage. I asked to see the camera footage. He said that due to privacy issues he would not be able to do that. So basicly he owns the team and the referees. After a few back and forth of emails, he decided to send me two screenshots of my car in the bay. I pointed out the crack on the windshield. Through pictures alone I could not see my entire interaction at the shop. I was not looking for a copy of the footage and offered to go to him so we both could see it and have confirmation. If I was at fault, I would assume my responsibilities. He told me that he would not assume responsibility for the replacement of the windshield even though he was not fully convinced or had proof that it didn't occur there. The situation could have easily been resolved by both of us watching the camera footage. I spent my Veteran's day tired and exhausted dealing with this. He told me that the only thing he could do is give me a few coupons for future oil change. Really??? I was not looking for free coupons but merely confirmation that my vehicle was not damaged there. I am now stuck with a $350 expense from getting an oil change.I do not see myself doing any business in the future with Jiffy Lube nor will I recommend anyone to do so. Jiffy Lube please do not reply with me contacting you because that has already been done. You have my contact information if you would like for us to sit down and watch the complete camera footage together.
