    Extremely disappointed with our latest rental experience here. We’ve used this location in the past and it’s always been fine, but this time will be the last. We received a call the day we were due to pick up the vehicle we had reserved three weeks prior saying the vehicle needed an oil change, but they assured us it would be ready in time. Upon our arrival, we were told the vehicle was not available and then they proceeded to deny ever telling us (just hours before) the car would be ready. They told us they had a minivan, which was not big enough for the number of passengers we would be traveling with, and shrugged at the fact nothing else was available for another 2+ days. I realize things happened, but the fact that they couldn’t have cared less that we now had no car to take on our family vacation was frustrating, to say the least.

    This was my first time renting at this location. I experienced a minor issue with the vehicle, but your team, especially Jayden handled it promptly. Thank you Jayden for you excellent customer service!!

    Do not rent from them , they dont gave the cars they say they will ...not clean , no gas ... always an excuse ...the worst location the east coast ...fire everyone and start over

    We arrived onsite to pickup the car. At the check in they told us what make and model it was and that it was ready to go. When they walked us to the car it was a totally different smaller car. The model we rented was sitting there as well but they said they couldn't let us rent that because it was already rented. So, we left and called customer service. An hour later they sent us an email saying the car is now ready but now they won't answer the phone at the Clayton branch so we can confirm with them exactly what is going on. I would suggest showing up onsite before making a choice to rent here. The communication is unreliable.

    I will be the first to say the customer service was top tier, every rep who was working that day was super nice and very friendly. So let me explain my reason for the 3 stars.. I reserved a full-size vehicle for 4 days. Upon my 3:30 arrival, I was told that the car was still being cleaned and it would take about 20mins, which was fine bc I was in no rush. Once the car was ready, I walked outside with the rep to do the walk-through and was still looking around for my full-sized vehicle when he pointed to a Mitsubishi Outlander that looked super compact. I thought maybe I was tripping, but I still signed on the dotted line anyway and pulled off. Now I am a tall woman at 5'11, so I always drive a full-size car bc I need the leg room.. my legs were so cramped in that little SUV that I immediately made a U-turn at the light and headed right back in there not even 2mins later. I told them that wasn't the full-sized vehicle that I reserved and they almost immediately switched it with a Hyundai Sanata that had all the bells and whistles (unlike the compact car which was definitely an older model vehicle); push start, touch screen, heated seats, etc. Now they knew that wasn't a full-sized car bc there was no rebuttal at all when I told them that wasnt the car I reserved. They just said a full-size car had just finished being cleaned up and they pulled it around a couple minutes later. I was completely satisfied with the switcharoo bc now I could drive to my out-of-town company Christmas party comfortably, however why give me a compact car if that wasn't what I reserved when there was clearly one available? Not cool at all!
