  I" ve always gone to this Valvoline @ Northlake since they've opened and it was always exceptional with Oscar and OT. However, I went for an oil change 4/10/26 and the individual who was working on my vehicle underneath in the bay asked someone where is my "oil filter" ? As long as I've been getting oil changes I've never heard any one ask where the oil filter is?. Another worker had to show them where my oil filter was located.I told Zay " they are making me nervous ". He tried to reassure me the individual in the bay knew how to do the oil change. So, I said ok. NOW, I KNOW THAT IS NOT THE CASE. Late that night my vehicle was leaking oil. I got up and went down to Northlake Valvoline @ 7am to my surprise they no longer open at 7am but 8am. I found another Valvoline open early and advise them my oil was leaking.,showed them pictures of the leak. The manager Devonte at this Valvoline location checked underneath my vehicle and saw exactly where the oil was coming from. They wiped down all the excess oil and showed me under my vehicle' s hood where the oil was NOT cleaned out in the drain plug. I was highly unsatisfied with how my oil change went at the Valvoline Northlake. I have always given outstanding reviews of the Valvoline's that I've gone to because they have always done an excellent job and have always been professional UNTIL 4/10/26. Unfortunately, since my oil change was not completed correctly at Northlake, I am no longer comfortable going to that location. It's truly a shame since this location is convenient.

  Came in today 4/6/26 right after 1p.m. with my wife and daughter in the car. When I tell you this place has terrible management, a huge lack of communication, and a super high level of incompetence!!!! I waited for about 45 minutes before even getting into a bay. I get into the bay only to wait forever(at least another 30 minutes) and was notified by another person( other than who checked me in) that there was an issue; they had completely drained my car of oil after removing the filter and then instead of the manager approaching the situation, an employee was sent to notify me they didn't have an oil filter in stock for my vehicle!!! Excuse me what!!? It was completely unprofessional to have an employee approach me in regards to this issue(and pretty cowardly!). A second employee proclaiming to be the manager approached me (Sir I dont believe you.) The gentlemen with the red shirt,I am almost certain, was the manager. The self proclaimed manager then approaches thanking me for my patience in the matter. (Sir, I don't have a choice i can't drive off as I wasn't given that option from the beginning!!!) He then offers $30 dollars off from a $130 oil change since they had to run to the parts store to get it. Can't even use my A.C. because they drained my freaking oil!!!...im not sure how far the management level goes but there needs to be some serious reprimanding and training going on...this store is a complete circus!!! If they were willing to do that, you think I'm going to bring my NEW (or old for that matter)car back to find out what else you can do😂😂😂!!!??? Also, I watched as several cars drove away due to long wait times; more than enough employees to service the cars in an orderly fashion just a complete mismanagement of this store. Please be aware!!! This store is a clownshow. P.s. I dont think they even topped off my windshield wiper fluids. This place used to be really good when they first opened!!!

  My experience was terrible. I stopped at the 7-Eleven right after I left from getting my oil changed. I was there no more than one minute two minutes and someone started tapping on my window and said hey listen or is leaking out of your car. I look down and all the oil and leaked out of my car and now my oil light is blinking flashing. A rush back to Valvoline and they corrected issue. So I thought, I get home and park my car in the garage and oil is leaking, all residue that was on my engine has leaked all over the floor in my garage. I will never be coming back to this location again.

  DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. They lied to me and told me the couldn’t pass me for my inspection because of my windshield wipers, which of course they could replace for me for double the price I could pay off Amazon. When I asked what was wrong with the wipers they said they left streaks. I pushed back because I knew they still worked, and the inspector said he would do what he could, which was sketchy. At the end he still didn’t pass me and then he also said my tires need replacing, which they don’t. I went down the street to the next inspection spot and passed everything just fine, surprise surprise. BUT that’s not all. The fine gentleman at Valvoline also forgot to give me my registration back. When I drove back to get it at first they said they put it in my car, which they did not, then when he found it he walked over to hand it to me he DIDNT EVEN LOOK ME IN THE EYES OR APOLOGIZE. Which told me everything I needed to know which was that they tried to rip me off and are a shady business. The manager at that point should have at minimum offered me a coupon since they wasted more of my time. Last but not least, they didn’t even fill up my windshield wiper fluid when they changed my oil. Which I think was on purpose because I didn’t let them rip me off. DO NOT GO HERE! Terrible business, terrible management, sketchy, unprofessional, untrustworthy.

  Came here for an oil change and an inspection and just hard to say enough about the quality of service I received, the speed with which they performed the work, and the clarity and fairness in the price. I wish I would have gotten some of the guys names there because they really were top-notch in their customer service and how I was treated. I wouldn’t even come here to leave a review on an oil change and inspection if it weren’t this high level, but this place will have my business moving forward.
