  They didn't reattach the oil filter cover on my vehicle correctly. Now I have to redo what should have been done correctly the first time

  Bad... checked that they reset my oil light and didn't, checked that they checked tire pressure and didn't, checked that they topped off fluid and didn't. Gas is to high to be making trips back and forth

  It was a very clean establishment each time I go and I've been three times now the employees are very kind and show a display of courtesy quick inefficient

  After an entire month passing and having made calls to several Valvoline (corp/global) offices I have had no response to the initial issue experienced at Rozzelles Ferry location in Charlotte, NC. The initial date of visit was 03/09/2026 and I am still waiting for a f/u call from someone in corporate, after speaking to someone who advised being in the corporate office; advising the location manager confirmed they were able to complete my oil change at visit. I requested to see the video footage as this is opposite of what occurred and I am sure the staff are aware. They weren't able to open the hood to complete an oil change due to not being able to open the hood. In an effort to assist, a staff unintentionally broke the lever/cable to the hood opener which had to be repaired, at my expense. I can appreciate not wanting to pay/reimburse but that is the appropriate response, not the blatant lie that was spun and avoidance of accountability.

  Disappointed! I always go here and these guys are really fantastic I mean they know that stuff and when you do the oil change you stay in the car and I thought that's really cool because I just like listening to what they're doing and I like to watch you know to make sure they're doing things okay. Will I have a Hyundai Kona it's a 2023 and the oil change is expensive because they want you to use full synthetic oil and when they're changing the oil and I have to change the oil filter it's a different kind of filter it's like a round paper filter and it goes inside a container that then hooks up underneath the engine and tightens and that's the way of works but would you have to do is you have to replace the parts that go on the filter so when you take the filter off it's like it's in this housing you take that off and then you take the paper filter out but then it has a gasket around the filter itself that's got to be replaced and then there's a little bracket or something that I saw the guy trying to figure out how to put it together. I was like hell no he's not going to know what he's doing I get this seed in his eyes he doesn't know how to do this. So I didn't want to say anything but I was kind of nervous you know cuz it's basically a new car so I just waited and I was watching from the driver's seat the hood was up so I can look underneath the hood there through the windshield I can see kind of what he was doing. So then he was tightening the filter up and he was done so then the other guy comes around and tells me okay can you start the car we want to check your oil pressure so as soon as I started the car and I hear the guy down below in the bay just yelling to turn it off turn it off shut off the engine so I shut it off right away! And I know exactly what happened he probably used the same gasket and the same bracket and put it back in the filter and you can't do that you got to use all new parts I mean I'm paying full synthetic oil for this and this oil change is not $30 is that 29.999 they could use to be back in the day it's like 87.007 the whole thing cost me $137 for a freaking oil change! So then I'm getting pissed off because I try to keep my engine looking good and I try to take care of my vehicle and I know all the oil is underneath there everywhere it's for me to spray it everywhere so this other guy comes over his name was Matt and let me tell you a shout out to Matt that guy knows his stuff this guy is he is a mechanic man this guy knows what he's doing. I wish I can go there all the time and I would say I just want Matt to touch my car I don't want anybody else doing anything to it just matt. But I can't do that that's not going to work! So I saw Matt going over everything with the guy he seemed like he was new and I understand being no it's it's difficult I've been there before I worked on cars before and I and I know what it's like to be a new guy. But the rule of thumb is what I learned but anytime you replace and something always use new parts new gaskets don't reuse an old gasket. So Matt came to my door and he said to me look I'm really sorry but this is what happened if you used the gasket and it dispute everywhere I said I understand don't worry about it I said can you clean it up for me into the other because when the wife goes to drive the car and it smells like oil burning she's going to freak out because she doesn't know she's going to say this burning oil or something's wrong with the engine and I'm like no wait until it burns off. So he said yeah sure I got the guy down there underneath and he's cleaning it all up and make sure it's nothing dripping or anything like that he said I don't want to get it on your driveway when you go home so I'm going to make sure it's nice and clean. Can you have a brand new filter all new parts and I installed it myself so it's good you're good to go everything's fine. Matt did give me a $15 coupon which was really nice! Maybe I'll go back again I don't know. I really like going here it's so convenient! When I go to the dealer it's more expensive!
