- LPLiv Page3 days ago1.0I’ve used Valvoline for years without issues, which makes this experience even more disappointing. After an oil change at this location, my 2015 Toyota Avalon experienced sudden engine failure shortly afterward. There were no prior engine issues, no leaks, and no warning signs before the service. At the time of failure, oil was visibly sprayed across the engine, and the vehicle lost a significant amount of oil while driving. A certified mechanic inspected the vehicle and confirmed the failure is consistent with oil loss due to a loose or improperly installed oil filter. Despite providing photos and a written mechanic statement, Valvoline denied the claim. They relied on general statements about mileage and maintenance but did not provide any explanation for the oil spray or sudden oil loss, nor did they inspect the vehicle. I made multiple attempts to escalate and speak with a supervisor, but was not connected to anyone with authority to resolve the issue. This situation has resulted in significant expense and inconvenience, and it is very disappointing given my past positive experiences with the company. I would strongly encourage others to ensure all work is properly checked before leaving any service location.
