Brought a company vehicle in for oil change and ac repair. Was told ac needed new switch. $1000 part but minimal labor. Had them replace it. Was told the next day that the switch didn’t fix it and that I needed a new compressor which is another thousand dollars. I told them to remove the switch and put the old one back on since it didn’t fix it and they told me that it’s a lot of labor to take it off but not put it on. I will never go back there. Buyer beware.

I had some issues with the job done on my front brakes. I made up my mind that I wanted a refund no questions asked. Khalil was very patient and very professional. He and his crew took a look at my car and physically showed me what was wrong. They even test drove my car with me, and let me take it myself to ensure that I was satisfied. 100/10 100% recommend

Being new, it’s a nice place. Oil change and inspection were quick but a little pricey. However. The rep told me I needed new brakes ASAP (for $500!). When I told him they weren’t making any noise he said that brakes didn’t have squealers anymore. I passed on that, given that I could change them myself. Lo and behold I go to change them and not only do the brakes indeed have squealers, they were not yet worn to them. Typical scummy up-sales tactics. Avoid.

I was really disappointed with this automotive shop. While my car is in excellent shape, with high mileage. My first time there, I met Susie. She even said your car is in excellent shape. The diagnostic showed that my car needed to forty two hundred dollars in repairs. They seemed pretty disturbed when I did not oblige with all of the things that needed to be fixed. I repaired what I could, which was eight hundred dollars. I went back the second and third times. Because the customer service is great. I gave them a try since they were new in the neighborhood. After a few good experiences, my fourth visit was a disaster. My car started making horrible noises, and despite paying for diagnostics, they kept pushing me toward big-ticket repairs instead of offering a simple tune-up. I feel like they took advantage of me. I was specifically told that the regional manager of that branch would contact me, but no one ever did. I feel completely ignored and let down by their lack of accountability. On top of everything, their communication was dreadful. Across two invoices, they repeatedly had the wrong phone number, even after I gave it to them multiple times. After I went to pick up my car, I had returned it within three days of a $1,900 repair, only to get another bill for $1,900. Now my car is just sitting unusable for months. I ASKED FOR A WRITE-UP OF ALL THE REPAIRS, INCLUDING THE TUNEUP. THEY REFUSED TO ENGAGE ME IN A WRITTEN EXPLANATION OF WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR. Do not go to this place for ANYTHING. Joey Susie (or Suzanne) Khalil UPDATE!!! In my previous review, I detailed the damage to my vehicle, which I believe was caused by the staff. Afterward, the manager reached out to me. During our conversation, she dismissed my financial situation, saying, 'Oh my God, you're still paying on a car with over 200,000 miles.' She also noted that once parts are replaced, misalignments occur. I acknowledged this but stressed I was seeking a solution. However, she used the excuse of her own personal home issues as the reason for not responding in a timely manner. Despite this, it has now been two weeks, and there has been no further follow-up. Moreover, her staff is clearly not equipped for customer service at the front—they are nonchalant, lack urgency, and show no regard for resolving customer issues. After such a large financial investment, this is utterly unacceptable. If one is going to come to work, the expectation is to perform with professionalism and care. As a customer, I expect respect and a timely resolution. I expect a call from the corporate office, as I will not be dealing with their staff members on site."

I was excited when Speedy first opened near Mallard Creek Church Road and North Tryon because there weren’t many quick service options nearby. I used them several times for oil changes, and while prices increased over time, I continued going because the staff seemed trustworthy. That trust was misplaced. During a routine oil change, they claimed my car needed several repairs, including an alternator. Even though my car is fairly new, I approved the $1,200 repair because they seemed honest. Immediately after, my battery light stayed on. They kept my car for over a week, only to say they couldn’t fix it and that I should go to the dealership. Months later, my car shut off while driving. The Nissan dealership found that Speedy had installed a used, refurbished alternator presented as new. It failed in under 5 months. When I called Speedy, they only offered to “fix it again,” for free which I refused because why would that make sense? This experience showed poor integrity, misleading practices, and bad advice that left me stranded. I strongly recommend using a dealership or a trusted certified mechanic instead. I will be filing complaints with the BBB and my bank for fraudulent charges and false advertisement.
