I cannot say enough good things about Mavis and their entire team. After leaving another shop where my vehicle was still unsafe to drive, I came to Mavis for a second opinion, and they truly went above and beyond for me.
From the moment I walked in, everyone was kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to show me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood what needed to be fixed. After such a frustrating experience elsewhere, that honesty and transparency meant so much to me.
A huge thank you to Josh especially for listening to all of my frustrations, treating me with kindness, and making sure my vehicle was repaired properly and safely. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers.
I am beyond grateful to the entire team at Mavis for getting me back on the road safely. I honestly will never go to another shop again. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. Highly, highly recommend!
I had one of the best experiences I have ever had at a shop here. The team went above and beyond, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers and their safety.
Shoutout to Cory, he was the man. He really took the time to look out for me and made sure my car was safe.
It is rare to find people this honest, professional, and willing to help. You don’t always come across service like this, they truly put my safety first, and that meant a lot.
I am very grateful and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

While this isn't the location that installed my breaks incorrectly, they refuse to acknowledge that their sister location installed a completely faulty brake assembly that showed premature wear 2 times within the span of a year and change. I came to this location hoping they would fix their sister locations mistakes, (which let me add, recorded my mileage as over 100,000 more than it actually had so I was unable to verify my warranty) Location in Charlotte replaced only my front 2 rotors which had completely gone bad in less than 20k miles. They neglected to replace my back two rotors and pads, which subsequently went bad just a few months later. Manager tried to convince me that this is normal brake wear and was rude and practically mansplained completely irrelevant aspects of my car to me that had literally nothing to do with my issue. Was smiling and almost laughing when talking to me. No idea how this place manages to get away with such atrocious up-charges. I have spent almost 2k at different NTB's and they can't even own up to their own mistakes. Was told by a former employee that they just hire whoever, and also don't pay employees what is deserved. I have no idea where their insane up-charge money is being funneled into - obviously not the employees. DO NOT go here. These people have earned as much certification as the lady on facebook marketplace who sells plates out of her house.

I came to Mavis Tires & Brakes for new tires and was already impressed by their fast service, competitive pricing, and how smoothly everything was handled. That positive experience brought me back when I thought I needed brakes, and they exceeded my expectations again. Jamie was exceptional from start to finish. He was absolutely professional, clear in his communication, and genuinely focused on helping rather than selling unnecessary work.
They inspected all of my brakes thoroughly and were completely transparent, letting me know replacement wasn’t needed yet and that I could safely come back in 3–4 months for another check. That level of honesty is rare and speaks volumes about their integrity. Jamie also pointed me to the Mavis website so I could use a 25% off coupon, which was another example of them looking out for the customer.
Quick service, professional communication, and total transparency are hard to find these days, but this team delivers all three. Absolutely fantastic and trustworthy gentlemen, I highly recommend them.

I would strongly advise anyone who cares about their vehicle to avoid this shop.
I had a 4:00 PM appointment, and it is now 7:00 PM—I am still waiting.
My car wasn't pulled in until 4:30 PM, and I’ve spent the last two and a half hours watching an inexperienced technician struggle through the window. It is taking him over 30 minutes per tire just to remove, mount, and balance. The staff here is clearly ill-equipped and lacks basic training.
To make the experience even worse, the manager eventually came out and told me he "had to get his hands dirty" for me today—as if he were doing me a personal favor by stepped in to fix their own delay. Newsflash: That is your job.
While I was waiting.
I also saw a gentleman with a Corvette leave with his brand-new wheels scraped and damaged by the staff.
The bottom line: If you have a cheap car and don't care about your wheels or your time, this place is fine. But if you have a nice car and expect professional service, stay far away. They are untrained, unprofessional, and the management is subpar!!!¡ I wish I had an option to add a negative start!!!!
