  Brandy at Mavis was amazing. I called around 10 different tire shops and most of them rushed me or just tried to sell me any tire. Brandy was completely different. She took her time, explained my options, and helped me get the best deal on 4 tires for my Honda sport. Her customer service honestly won me over, and because of her, Mavis is now my go-to tire place. Thank you again, Brandy!

  The so called general manager has people sitting in there and changing their good tires for more good tires instead of the bald ones now she has to wait with no cupón or anything then I come in asking for some advice since the mechanic is never here and he’s rude about answering questions what a trip NEVER AGAIN

  Good people working here , i believe they mean well but i would not recommend taking your car here if you have something more than an oil/tire change. Too many mistakes and miss quotes , will also pressure u into getting things that aren’t 100% necessary right now , while not knowing proper diagnostic skills to know what’s really wrong with your vehicle until you’re already $1,000 in the whole on other repairs you could’ve waited on. Just be prepared to wait for an eternity while shopping at harris teeter across the street to pass time and be prepared to most likely come back because someone either didn’t tell you something was going bad on your car or someone did not do the job correctly. I get mistakes happen and they do try to make it right but their corrections are not free , they have you pay for what they neglected to tell you or to try to fix what they messed up. i saw multiple customers come back while i was waiting, complaining that something either wasn’t done right last time they were here or that something in their car is leaking that wasn’t leaking before. Would NOT recommend unless it is your only option to go to this place or unless the quality of work improves.

  Been having to put air in my tires the past few weeks due to t he constant weather change. However I woke up with a flat on a Sunday :( Safely drove to Mavis-NorthLake and they took really good care of me without an appointment. Free tire & TMPS check. Staff was friendly and professional...AJ & Brandy are AWESOME!!! 🤩🫶 They match online prices and gave me a discount on the service/labor fees which was great because this was an unexpected expense I hadn't planned for 😇🙏. And the offer discounts/promos on other routine auto services as well. Highly recommend this place for your tire and/or car maintenance/repair needs 👌 👍😃

  Like another reviewer, the only reason I'm giving this location 2 stars is due to the wonderfully kind person behind the desk. I drive a fleet vehicle & have gone to this location several times for a simple oil change & tire rotation. Each time has been a little worse than the previous. I made an appointment online 2 days in advance & arrived a few minutes before my scheduled appointment. The wonderfully kind person apologized as she was new & management had not yet trained her on the procedure for processing a fleet vehicle for service. I decided to pay for the service directly as my company would reimburse me for the cost. Since I had an appointment, I decided to wait onsite for my service to be performed. Two hours past my scheduled appointment time, my vehicle hadn't even been brought into the shop. I politely asked for my keys back & left. One thing I've noticed each time that I've been at this location is that there is always someone new working behind the counter. This leads me to believe that they have a high personnel turnover rate, which as a manager myself recognize is mostly due to poor management itself. Again, no fault of the wonderful lady behind the counter. She offered to get me in first if I came back the following day. But this was my third bad experience here. Three strikes, you're out.
