  I was highly satisfied with my experience at this Valvoline because of the employee, Donnie, I had the pleasure of interacting with. Donnie was knowledgeable, personable, and gave me the highest level of service. Donnie clearly explained to me what I was buying and which products and services I needed today and which I may need to do in the future. Throughout the service, he kept me sufficiently updated and informed on what was going on and also educated me throughout the process. Donnie has a full depth of understanding of the products and services that Valvoline offers and gives exceptional customer service. I knew the old location manager, Barry, and Donnie told me about Barry’s recent promotion and that’s why Barry was no longer at this location. Donnie and I both share strong positive opinions about Barry and Donnie shared with me some leadership skills he had learned from Barry about leading by example. I think Donnie would make a great location/store manager one day and I highly recommend him for a promotion! I will certainly be coming back to this location specifically to receive customer service from Donnie.

  I went for an oil change today. I told the tech what oil I wanted AND that I didn'twant the European oil. After the work, I found out that he DID NOT share that information with the tech who worked on my car. As a result of HIS mistake, my bill was almost $200 for European oil wth Valvoline. I used to enjoy using this location but this is the second time that I've been scammed by Valvoline and quite frankly I'm sick of it! Although the tech gave me a discount, at the end of the day, THE TECH DID NOT LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER and for this reason, I will NOT BE BACK AND I'M SHARING MY EXPERIENCE WITH EVERYONE. I'M TELLING ALL OF MY NEIGHBORS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO AVOID VALVOLINE AND THEIR SCAMMY PRACTICES.

  I was supremely disappointed to drive up with my baby in the back of the car and an engine light on to the same place I had last gone to get my car serviced. I pulled up saying my engine is overheating - and before I opened my hood I was told I probably need an engine flush and asked whether I want one. I said we should probably look under the hood first, starting with the coolant. The guy unscrewed the top, it started steaming, he looked in, and screwed the top back on. Said it wasn't the coolant. I asked him to check the oil, which looked mostly fine, so I asked to please fill the coolant anyway as I couldn't see where the line was. That was because there WAS NO LINE. It was completely empty. How do you look in and miss that it is completely empty? How did it not get topped off before in the prior service when I was explicitly told that it was? So they were fully ready to sell me an engine flush and let me drive away with zero coolant. As a woman and single mom, this is exactly the kind of treatment we hope we have all moved away from. But mostly - shame on Valvoline for clearly incentivizing the staff to upsell instead of diagnose and fix problems. Shame on you.

  Double wrapped a gasket which started burning through and caused an oil level light to go off after 1k miles. Called back on a recorded line pleading the fifth. They took no accountability saying it would have caused issues after a few days (which is obviously not true). A simple sorry and we’ll learn from this mistake would have been nice, let alone a refund of a service that could have destroyed my car. Terrible.
