They wanted $1,000 to change four brake pads. 500 per axle is absolutely ridiculous for just the pads. I went down the street less than a mile to Mavis and all four brake pads plus a rotor was $380. Sales at SpeeDee should be ashamed of themselves.

I walked into the car shop with a problem. I walked out with a solution, a life lesson, and a newfound respect for the concept of “customer service,” all thanks to Khalil. This man didn’t help me—he orchestrated the experience. No upselling, no talking in riddles, no pretending the check-engine light is “just a vibe.” Khalil explained everything with the patience of a monk and the clarity of someone who actually knows what they’re doing (a rare and beautiful thing). At no point did I feel confused, rushed, or spiritually tested. He answered questions before I asked them, anticipated concerns I didn’t know I had, and somehow made car maintenance feel… enjoyable? I don’t like that this is possible, but Khalil made it happen. If you’re debating where to take your car, stop. Go here. Ask for Khalil. Frankly, the shop should just rename itself after him and be done with it.

Service was great, and the knowledge was amazing. I was told from a tire shop that my car was out of alignment, but it was not. I know a lot of shops would take that knowledge and run with it to make a buck but these guys are honest, which to me is invaluable. They did recommend that I get my oil changed because it was time, which I did not realize since I rarely drive this vehicle. Kudos to this team, especially Joey the Manager.

Nice guys working here but this spot is very expensive. I grew in an auto shop and I’m used to tire rotation, tire pressure readings, and wiper fluid refills being part of the oil change service. I came in with a coupon but the price for anything here is astronomical. I would recommend supporting a local auto shop over one of these big stores. Especially because they are going to try to upsell you any way they can. Still a nice spot, just super overpriced.

Update: in addition to the fact that there probably isn't an actual general manager the concerning review response requesting your contact info also results in no contact. It is probably just a bot as I provided my contact info and heard nothing. Clearly this place has been positioned and promoted to attempt to take advantage of college students. They offer discounts for college kids then when they come in for a simple oil change they try to add additional services or use scare tactics to get someone to buy. Here is the story of my 19 year old daughter: She went in for an oil change, the mechanic came out after looking at the car and said that she had a massive oil leak and they needed to replace a 20 dollar gasket but had to drop the axel to get to it. They said it would be 600 dollars to fix it. They let her know that failing to do this work could ruin the car forever. They tried to pressure her to do the work now. She declined and went to another mechanic turns out it was a bad oil plug. This location did the oil change used a faulty oil plug charged my daughter 100ish dollars. 1 Day later she had to get it redone again. She reached out to the shop explained the situation and that she didnt need that work but was now out another 100ish dollars for a second oil change and requested a refund. The person on the phone said that the district manager would contact her within a couple of days. 2 weeks later 3 more phone calls and a review no reply or remedy for the issue. Please try to protect your kids going to college and avoid this place. They are clearly looking to take advantage of people and have no accountability. I would imagine there isn't even a district manager that is probably how they get ppl off the phone. Disgraceful
