Overall great experience. On-line scheduling was seamless. Technician called prior to arrival to confirm appointment and explained the process in detail. Kind and courteous as he answered all my questions. Windshield replacement on 2015 Jeep Wrangler took about an hour. Highly recommended Safelite AutoGlass.

***BEWARE*** DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Safelite is hands down one of the most incompetent and dishonest companies I have ever dealt with. They came to fix a shattered window. That was it. There was absolutely ZERO additional damage to my vehicle before they touched it. After they were done? I was left with $5,700 worth of damage and — unbelievably — the window still shattered. They managed to both destroy my car further and fail at the one basic task they were hired to complete. At first, they admitted they would cover some of the damage. Then, without ever conducting a proper in-person inspection, they completely reversed course and denied all responsibility. Apparently at Safelite, “investigations” consist of glancing at photos and videos and making self-serving conclusions from behind a desk. No hands-on review. No accountability. Just denial. Even after I provided a professional collision center’s report confirming the damage, they arrogantly dismissed it. Charles and Michael were especially rude and condescending — dismissive, defensive, and clearly more interested in protecting the company than doing what’s right. They spoke to me like I was ignorant, as if I wouldn’t notice that the damage occurred immediately after their service. Safelite didn’t just mess up, they caused serious damage, refused to stand behind their work, and then tried to gaslight me into believing it wasn’t their fault. The lack of professionalism and integrity is appalling. What should have been a routine repair turned into an expensive, time-consuming disaster because of their incompetence. If you care at all about your car, do not trust Safelite anywhere near it.

IF? First you all come out to perform a warranty service without the part. Then you order the part and schedule an appointment for 5 AM. Then that gets moved to 8:00 AM. Then I'm told that you don't do onsite for this model even though you just came out a week ago to do just that. Then I'm told that a manager will call me. Then I'm told that you don't make phone calls. Then I'm told that someone will call me IF they see it in time. Who's on first? Absolutely the worst experience. Left hand and right hand do not communicate. I never get the same information twice and it is impossible to talk to anyone who is willing to help. AND MY WINDSHIELD IS STILL NOT FIXED BECAUSE IT WAS INSTALLED INCORRECTLY IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Bigger by volume of installations is not necessarily better! Safelite on WT. Harris Boulevard on January 28th, 2026. They installed a replacement windshield in my car but it cracked within 24 hours. I went back to the shop and the manager advised that there were stress cracks in the windshield and it was eligible for a warranty replacement. Replacement appointment was scheduled. Unfortunately prior to the appointment, I was contacted by customer service that the windshield that was delivered to the location from the distributor was broken. I would have to reschedule. More delays. I rescheduled again and arrived for my new appointment on February 19th. My car was taken into the shop but soon after, I was advised that the replacement windshield was not at the shop. The staff had no idea where the windshield was! Why didn't the shop Manager look at the day's booked appointments and affirm that the necessary parts and windshields were in stock? I have a couple of other questions- 1. why was the appointment confirmed if the windshield was not available? 2. When can I get my windshield actually installed? The cracks have become significantly larger and are becoming a safety hazard. Safelite I am waiting! The shop advised me that I would hear today, February 20, on next steps but they did not contact me. Update February 21st: I phoned the shop this morning to get a status update. They advised that the OEM glass required for my vehicle would not be in for 2 to 4 weeks. Not only is this disappointing, but it confirms that the glass had never been ordered for my previously confirmed appointment on February 19th.

My husband took my vehicle into Safelite on 1301 Carrier Dr, Charlotte, NC 28216 for a simple small ping on my windshield on Saturday February 14th 2026 Valentine's Day, in which it was a nightmare for me, Marquail Avant stated he is the manager and he was the one that damage my windshield , Marquail drove my car back into the place to repair , didn't discuss anything with my husband James ,which is 77 years old, noone talked to him about anything, to explain an option, or  the process, and what all it entails. Marquail , and a representative name Jamale return after they damage my windshield to un repairable. They sent my husband home stating they will come by to repair it Monday between 12 noon and 5 pm. I was ecstatic, upset and very disappointed. I asked James where the paper work of this damage and the conversation, that Safelite was going to replace my windshield. He stated they didn't give him anything. I called safelite and asked them why they damaged my car and treated my husband like he was a child.. That was very disrespectful. I talked with Jamale and Marquail both men's signatures, stated the damage took place at their repair shop and they would replace my windshield. I expressed ,, that since they destroyed my windshield, I need the same factory windshield installed by on my car. Jamale continued to say he had me covered and understood it is their fault, and that he would escalate it to get it approved . I informed Marquail he needed more training because that was a simple fix. He agreed.. Jamale stated the next time he will have a more experienced technician when they replace my windshield . A red flag went up after that statement, I asked why would you have someone inexperienced working on customers cars until they are professionally trained? Jamal apologized. A machine is not to blame, a machine can't start itself up and make a mistake without the assistance of a human being ,and this is what happened to my vehicle . I became ill that day, headache, chest pains. due to the stress of this unnecessary incident. I really don't believe Marquail that damaged my car took it seriously or cared,at all. He was very sarcastic and nonchalant. He acted if that was our problem, not his or the company.. I am willing to do what I have to do to get my vehicle windshield replaced with the factory  OEM windshield. I am not paying for the replacement of my factory OEM windshield, due to the fact safelite technician destroyed it, because of  his lack of training, in which he admitted in front of myself and my husband and his colleague admitted when they installed my new windshield, he stated he will make sure it is a well trained technician that knows what he is doing. Another interesting issue that took place, a manger on duty that stated he didn't want to talk to me or get involved , he stated he was filling in for another manager, in which I found that very disturbing, and I voice that,if he is a team player and a trusted loyal employee. He didn't want to show any responsibility  as a manager, that should be able to handle escalated situations, or step down. I don’t believe Marquail is a manager, but someone being sarcastic. Safelite is refusing to replace my windshield with the same windshield that is on my car , although their technician destroyed it. I will not use this company again . This is a warning and FYI to know what to expect if it happens to someone else. I am seeking legal advice, we are senior citizens, that has been taken advantage of. I don’t trust any Safelite companies
