We also carry a huge variety of chips, candy and other snacks. The coolers keep our bottled drinks – water, juice, soda, energy drinks, beer, and more - at a delightfully refreshing temp. Other amenities include an inside ATM, bathrooms cleaned every half hour, bagged ice, lottery and scratcher tickets, and tobacco. The employees just looked at everyone trying to come in. I rely on QTs for gas food and a restroom stop but this one in particular truly discriminated against the crowd coming in- close to the bars and clubs and it seems they were just over it. The QTs in Greenville SC are always reliable- I guess it’s not all QTs everywhere. to add to that i knew I needed air before getting on the road and that’s another reason I googled the closest QT- so to drive up to the pump and see out of service was even more disappointing.

The man operates that counter like it’s a high-stakes mission. Friendly? Check. Efficient? Absolutely. Funny? I laughed harder than I have at most Netflix specials. He cracked a joke while ringing up my energy drink and somehow made waiting in line feel like a social event. The man could sell tornadoes to Kansas and still have you smiling. I asked where the taquitos were, and not only did he point — he walked me over like I was royalty. Then he told me which ones were fresh like he was revealing trade secrets. Legend behavior. QuikTrip, if you’re listening: give Jason a raise, a crown, and possibly a statue out front. This guy turns a pit stop into a highlight of the day.
