  Customer service was great. Unfortunately the repair was not done correctly and I’m disappointed. I dropped it off with Gerber at the beginning of August and did not receive it back until the Beginning of September. Parts are hard to find for this vehicle, so was expected. However, when you wait that long you expect them to be able to source the right parts for the vehicle and give it back to you fully repaired. They replaced the driver side taillight with the wrong taillight, so now I have two taillights that don’t match. They also told they were going to call me to come back later to replace a trim piece(the piece the Nissan badge is on) they could not get. Almost a month later, I never got a call or a follow up. So I’m driving around in a partially repaired car with mismatched taillights, after they already took the insurance money. Manager also got mad at me for recommending a place to get the parts and saying it interfered with how they do business. I’m trying to get my car fixed, and when I can find a place that can get the part but their provider can’t get it, that’s a problem. Absolutely disappointed and would not recommend. Still waiting to hear back from them.

  I had a great experience with this Gerber location. They were very accommodating in allowing me to wait until all parts came in prior to dropping our car off as it was still operational so as to minimize rental car charges. Communication in advance of work being done was stellar as was the twice weekly status updates on Tuesday and Thursday when the car was with them. I was kept up to speed every step of the way. Prior to coming to Gerber, I engaged with two other collision specialists that were NOT Gerber - both on Independence. One was a company alleging no advertising / all referral and I am not sure how this is possible - all 5 star reviews - I have never seen that before for any company. Be careful where the reviews say one thing and the initial experience does not match up to what is in the reviews - trust your gut. For that 5 star company, there was no communication and when there was, it was all verbal , and when there was any communication, they went out of their way to ensure nothing was in writing - no email replies, only calls. They would not provide a quote - big red flag. The other was a large branded company , but when I called, I could never get to talk to anyone at the physical location and was routed through call centers which caused disconnects at the service location prior to even starting. If the communication is not good prior to dropping your car off, you know it will only get worse from there. This Gerber location stood out from the start with exemplary customer service and strong communication. I recommend them highly.

  Brandi and Keith were extremely helpful with my car's situation. They were able to answer all my questions and provided daily updates to the repairs. They do good body work and matched the paint perfectly. Couldn't be happier!
