  I’ve rented from Enterprise many times and have never experienced this level of neglect. The first SUV was filthy, dog hair in the seats, mud everywhere, a hole in the floorboard, and it reeked of cigarettes. Clearly not cleaned. I was rushing to a meeting, so I had to leave. When I asked for another car, the staff couldn’t have cared less. The second vehicle was just as dirty. I even watched the “cleaning” happening out back—someone spraying the ground with a hose. That’s it. Since I had the car for nearly a month, I ended up paying to clean it myself. At drop-off, the manager, Sterling, knocked $50 off, which basically just covered my cleaning costs. Gross, unprofessional, and disappointing. I will never rent from this location again.

  Please beware Enterprise - 6451 Independence Blvd! I should have read the reviews prior to getting a rental car from this location! I usually don’t write negative reviews and give grace to companies, however Enterprise - 6451 Independence Blvd is not worthy of my grace! First, when I received the car, I was scheduled to go out of town a few days later. Thankfully, my husband checked the rental car’s oil; it was due for an oil change within 100 miles! The next morning, I called Enterprise, and a worker informed me an oil change can’t be authorized until it reaches the mile number that the oil change is needed. I told the worker I’m going out of town and will travel well over 100 miles and need another car. The worker told me there was not a rental car available. I responded that something needs to be done soon, so the worker told me to hold on because he would have to get authorization for an earlier oil change. The worker spoke with his manager, and said I would have to take the car to get an oil change. I have never heard of a customer taking a rental car to get an oil change! I was in a rush to go out of town so I had no choice but to take the car to get an oil change. This was absolutely poor customer service! Here comes the fraud! When I signed my rental agreement, I declined all optional coverages and told the worker I didn’t need it. When I signed my agreement, optional coverages were declined. I provided my credit card for the security deposit only! When I returned the car, I received a $725 charge for optional coverage. I called the dealership to ask about the charge, and a worker said it was for optional coverage. I said I never opted for coverage and told the worker the same! I checked the rental agreement and saw the optional coverage was selected, and it was not my signature! I called Austin, the manager, and he said my agreement says I opted for optional coverage, and I signed the agreement. I told him I declined optional coverage, and that isn’t my signature on the agreement. I’ve been battling Enterprise for the past few months, and Barclays Credit Card Company hasn’t helped despite my card dispute because Enterprise said I signed an agreement! When I’ve needed a rental car, most of the time, I rent through Enterprise. However, I will never rent from Enterprise ever again! Austin is also a horrible manager! Do not rent from this Enterprise by any means necessary!
