AutoZone usually have what you need in auto parts. However they didn't have what I needed.

They misdiagnosed. I went for battery issues. I said I probably need a new battery, but let's check it before replacing it. They checked the battery and told me that the battery was fine, but the alternator needed replacing. I took the car to Dos Amigos, a mechanic down the street, and they told me the opposite - that the alternator was fine but that the battery needed replacing. They replaced the battery and the car has run perfectly since then. AutoZone misdiagnosed and, if I hadn't gotten another opinion, that mistake would've made my repair much more expensive. I know AutoZone's not a mechanic, and I don't depend on it for much in terms of hands-on diagnostics, but I know they offer a free battery analysis so I'd hope that their machine works.
Edit: To be clear, this must've been an issue with their battery-testing machine, or the company for not buying a better machine, but the employees were nice. I just don't know how they made the leap to the alternator.

This is my first visit to this store and I'm so happy with the service. Abraham is a wonderful, helpful, and empathetic person, and his colleague Keishana was also very polite. I appreciate the advice and assistance. I'm a new customer and a neighbor!
AVOID THIS PLACE! I showed up at 6:30 needing a new battery. The man at the counter, Mohamed, informed me that they cannot do installs after dark. That was fine by me, i was very thankful that they let me borrow their tools in order to change it myself.
While changing the battery, one of the nuts had riunded corners, and was giving me problems. I went in to ask them if they had a different tool, but Mohamed insisted i had the wrong size. I let him try for himself, and he quickly realized that I did, in fact, have the right size, and that the nut was stripped. He then proceeded to blame me for doing this in his frustration with getting it off. He refused to get a decent pair of pliers which, obviously, would have solved the issue from the beginning, and is all i asked him for.
After that the other lady was nice enough to come out with a pair of decent pliers and we got it off. After making sure my car started, i returned their tools, only for Mohamed to come out to my car and accuse me of stealing his tools. I told him i sat them on the counter, and he began to get indignant. I walked in, showed him where they were sitting, at which point he, once again, realized his mistake but refused to apologize.
His coworker doesnt seem too fond of him either.
