  The rental process was easy to navigate online as well as the check in and skip the counter process. Returning the vehicle was also a smooth efficient process. The van was a newer model which was appreciated as it came with android auto, backup camera, and child safety locks. However the condition of the car was less than satisfactory. It was dirty on the inside with old food in compartments, paint stains on the seat, and broken parts that made it hard to place luggage in the trunk.

  I've rented with Alamo CLT around 50-60 times in the past 3 years. I know this place very well. They used to be hands down the best value for your money. Unfortunately, lately Alamo/Enterprise's quality of service has gone down. Their cars became cheaper, they started offering less selection and began strictly enforcing their rules, not giving their customer any choice. Plus the last 2 times I rented, I had problems with my car and had my rental charge increased for no reason when returning the vehicle. Also, I've had a bad interaction with their shift manager Amber (or Ember - I don't know the spelling of her name as she refused to give me her business card). She was very unhelpful and rude. As a result, I had to switch to Sixt CLT and I no longer rent with Alamo / Enterprise

  Easy booking process online. Called to make sure vehicle was AWD, whoever I spoke with was great and assured it was AWD. The process to pick up car at Charlotte Airport NC location was quick and easy. John was friendly and helpful. We had a few vehicles to choose from. Returning vehicle at same location was very quick and easy. The guys were friendly!

  Alamo did an excellent job on our rental. Daphine worked the contract quick and smoothly. Car was in great shape and ready to go, as intended. Upon returning the vehicle, the process took just a few minutes, Musa helped us on a swift process, so we were on our way to the flight check-in in no time. Overall, a great experience.

  I had a guaranteed rental at CLT airport for a SUV with a skip the counter ticket. Upon going to the Alamo lot in the parking deck, there were no cars. I informed an attendant of such and showed my skip the counter ticket. He asked if I wanted a Van or a pickup truck. I said no, I rented an SUV not a van or a pickup truck. He found a Chevrolet Equinox which I took. Upon leaving the dark parking garage and into the sun, I noticed that the interior of the windshield was foggy and had not been cleaned. The interior smelled of cigarette smoke which gave me a headache. Within a few miles, I noticed a "Low Tire pressure light" came on. I have rented from Alamo at this location many times. I also fueled the car with over 100 miles of extra gas upon return than what was in the car upon pickup and the miles that I had driven -so not a full tank. Once I had to wait over an hour for a car at this location because they did not have any even though I had a reservation and arrived on time. This location does not express the high quality brand Alamo strives to be nor does it give what the customer expects. Customers expect a clean car, including windshields, a fresh smelling interior, tire pressures checked, a full tank of gas that has been verified by staff, and the car that they contracted for and not offered a less desirable option.
