Highly upset cause I wasted money on a uber when I could’ve went else where! sounds like the inventory is off so just make sure before you waste your time

After finding out that Tyleek, the manager, had installed the wrong battery in my car, Charlie even changed the battery in the rain to make things right. Both Marvin and Charlie handled the situation professionally and made sure I was taken care of, even though the mistake wasn’t theirs. When I first went to another Advance Auto(Rocky River Rd) I was told I’d have to go back to the original store to fix their mistake, that was really inconvenient and could’ve led to me getting hurt with the wrong battery installed. Also, the battery testing equipment definitely needs updating because the wrong battery was dead, yet the tester showed it as “good.” Still, huge thanks to Marvin and Charlie for their excellent customer service and for turning a bad experience into a positive one. They truly deserve recognition!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
