- TWTennia WebbMar 2, 20265.0I visited this location earlier today to purchase brakes, and I was so pleased with the customer service there. Ldarius asked me if I needed front or back brakes, and obviously I wasn't sure. Ldarius and manager Omarion came out to my truck, got down on the ground and felt both my front, and my back brake pads, and informed me that I was in need of both. My plan was to purchase the brakes there, but I was informed they don't sale lifetime brakes, but I would definitely go to this location again for other needs.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
