  Wow, so worth the drive. I have had problems with mechanics destroying my engine in the past, so before my latest repair, I searched Google for recommendations on mechanics for the 3800 engine. Almar came highly rated, so I went with their business. It did not take long while my car was being evaluated that the depth of knowledge by owner Kimberley was obvious. I have sat in waiting rooms before, and never heard this degree of expertise in conversations with customers and with mechanics that I heard from her. In the end, I felt very comfortable with her suggestions, and with the work performed. Still early after the repair of course, but I am not anticipating any issues. Long drive? Yes. Worth it?   We have been coming to Almar Auto for over 20 years, and I can honestly say we have always been grateful for the care and service we’ve received. Even with a few ownership changes over the years, the experience has consistently remained excellent. Kim and James were especially wonderful during my most recent visit. They took the time to clearly explain what was going on with my Kia and made sure everything was handled quickly and efficiently. It’s not always easy to find a shop you can trust, but Almar Auto continues to deliver dependable, honest service every time.

  Great auto shop for classic cars or trucks. They have been my go to for a restored 1965 Chevy truck. They fixed some issues I had with cooling and do the regular service. Truck has never run better !

  From start to finish, the team was a pleasure to work with. I called all around the city about getting a repair for my car and felt that this was the only shop to do deep diligence to diagnose the issue (including pictures) and communicate clearly my options and the price difference. They ended up coming in at 65% of the price of other shops in town, clearly demonstrated care and skill, and felt more like a partner working on a repair than trying to upsell. They were easy to work with, very professional, and clearly communicated. I’ll be coming back here for any car issues in the future and recommending others!
