Previously they told her that her drain plug was cross threaded (but not by them). Took it to the dealer and they said it was fine. Do NOT take your car there! This place is not trustworthy.

Update: 1/5/26, called to talk with them and they said it was noted in the report that the skid plate was loose and there is nothing that can be done, which is understandable, but I wish they had verbally mentioned this to me when I was there, which I still consider a big miss. They noted that the back wiper needed to be changed, which I paid for, so I guess a skid plate wasn't an upsell they offer? Update: I called them back to ask where it was noted that the skid plate was loose and they said on the invoice. The printer was broken that day so it wasn't handed to me, nor verbally communicated. It was noted in a small section on the emailed invoice which my wife received. However, when the skid plate came off at night when my wife was driving home from work it was terrifying, and these guys could have said something. Even on the phone they never took responsibility for not saying anything at all, instead insisting it wasn't a big deal. They lost our business for life.

The reviews are not lying. These people care for you they take care of you and they show you every step of the way that they’re doing good work to your car. Samaj, David Dylon and Thomas took excellent care of my wife’s new SUV and have sold me as the go to place to ensure my car is well cared for. Thank you again for an excellent experience!

- SHStephanie HarrisDec 26, 20251.0In August, I visited a Valvoline in Chapel Hill, NC for a State Inspection. During that visit, an employee broke my hood latch — and admitted it. I notified the company, they emailed me stating they would pay $678.86, which was the quoted cost of the repair. After I had the repair completed (because my hood could not be opened), Valvoline suddenly claimed they only approved payment for a “quote” of $678.86 — not the repair itself, which makes absolutely no sense, since no one pays $678.86 just to receive a quote. They now refuse to reimburse me and have given me the runaround. Bottom line: they damaged my car, admitted fault, and then refused to pay. ⚠️ Do not trust this Valvoline with your vehicle. ⚠️ If they damage your car, you may end up paying for it yourself. Still waiting for this to be made right.
