  I left this hard-to-find location behind the McDonald's totally confused 😖. After they ran the emissions test on my car and it passed, the woman behind the desk advised me that the service she now offered was not mandatory for the State test. She then showed me a filthy, yellow air filter and said it was from my car, that it needed to be replaced, and that they had tested the tank for residue and found it there. As a senior woman, I did feel some pressure to let them do the work, but I was sure the filter she showed me could not have been mine, as I had it changed not long ago, I seldom drive, and my car sits in a garage. As far as her having a machine to test for the residue, maybe, but again, my regular, trusted mechanic never mentioned it. I inadvertently told her that I had a mechanic who took good care of my car, and I even called him and let him talk with her to hear what issues she found. My mechanic assured her that he would handle all the work needed himself! The woman behind the desk, looking worried/confused, took the filter back out to the mechanics and said something to them. Then I paid her for the emissions testing and left. I took my car to my regular, trusted mechanic, and he looked at my orange-trimmed, “not yellow” air filter and said it was relatively clean and did not need replacing. Regarding the residue in the tank, when I asked, he just smiled, and I knew that wasn't a worry either.

  Best service and suggestions. Very friendly people. This is the best Jiffy Lube ever. Totally recommend.

  I brought my vehicle to Jiffy Lube for a state inspection. During the inspection, I was told that both license plate lights needed to be replaced. What should have been a simple task took more than 30 minutes, as the technician appeared unfamiliar with how to open the light cover. He spent a significant amount of time on his phone, which made it seem as though he was watching instructional videos instead of knowing how to perform the job. Eventually, he used a long screwdriver to force the cover open. After the inspection was completed, I noticed that the license plate light cover was loose and not properly reinstalled. I immediately brought this to the manager’s attention. Although they attempted to fix the issue, the cover could not be secured correctly and was left damaged. This vehicle is older, but it is very important to me. I do not drive it often because it holds sentimental value, and I take great care of it. I trusted Jiffy Lube with a routine inspection and instead left with damage that was not there before. Overall, this was a disappointing and unprofessional experience. I expected basic competence and care, especially for such a simple repair. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met.

  Got an oil change and a tire rotation, oil change went smoothly (hard to mess that up), but I also got a tire rotation, and these guys are grade A clowns, they ruined the threading on not one but two of my lugs, which resulted in me having to pay about $180 to get them replaced, only good for the most brain dead jobs, other wise keep away from your car.

  Came for an inspection and oil change without an appointment I was in and out in 20 minutes. The new general manager is very knowledgeable very personable and extremely professional. I am very happy with the service at the Fordham Boulevard location. I will be back.
