- ELEmma LangebeckJan 3, 20261.0Scheduled an appointment for an inspection online and when I came in the woman at the front desk said she didn’t have an inspection there. She was very nice and apologized for the mix up and scheduled me for an inspection two days later. no big deal. I dropped my car off at 11am and was told it would be an hour to an hour and a half. By 2:30pm I hadn’t received a call. When I called the store the man said someone would call me shortly. A woman called me and told me I had failed inspection and needed 2 new front tires, a new belt since mine was “cracked”, and new air filters because they were “disgusting”. Air filters and a belt are not required to pass a state inspection either…. Her tone wasn’t very “customer service” and didn’t offer much explanation just pricing and was overall very passive aggressive and rude. The price she gave me for 2 new tires, new air filters, and a new belt was around $680. When a family member (owner of the car) called to ask more questions about all the issues she was met with an argumentative tone and was quoted around $740 JUST for the tires alone. She was also hung up on after telling the man she will be there in 5 minutes to get the car and to not proceed with anything. When arriving my car wasn’t parked in a spot and BOTH back windows were rolled ALL the way down. I took my car to mavies to get new tires and the team there was beyond helpful and super kind offering more explanations on why my front 2 tires were more worn down than my back 2 despite having an all wheel drive car. I would never recommend this place nor will I be returning.
