  IF YOU HAVE A MODIFIED VEHICLE THINK TWICE BEFORE COMING HERE FOR INSPECTION. Full disclosure - this is my first, only, and last experience with this shop and I cannot speak for their mechanical work. Came here based off reviews and because it was a small family owned joint, did not have such experience. Tried not once, but twice to get inspected here with my parking lights on my wrangler. Anyone with a search engine can look and see how and where parking lights are located on jeeps wranglers. Both on the front grill, as well as a light on the factory fender. When you replace the fenders, you omit the lights (typically). Okay, fine. These guys here insisted more than once that I need to drill into my inner fenders and mount lights so that I’m visible from the sides… I encourage anyone and everyone to do their research before modifying their vehicle based off one opinion. Sometimes it’s just that, an opinion. It’s not a law nor a state requirement for inspection. G.S 20-134 states “ (a) Whenever a vehicle is parked or stopped upon a highway, whether attended or unattended during the times mentioned in G.S. 20-129, there shall be displayed upon such vehicle one or more lamps projecting a white or amber light visible under normal atmospheric conditions from a distance of 500 feet to the front of such vehicle, and projecting a red light visible under like conditions from a distance of 500 feet to the rear.” - copy and pasted from the unleg.gov website Nowhere does it say anything about side light requirements. I’ve read multiple sources, I’ve read the AI overviews, I’ve called, and I’ve asked the cops that live in my neighborhood; you have to be visible from the FRONT. Not the sides (unless you’re an over sized vehicle, which my little wrangler is not). So, before you get drill happy and just start punching holes into your inner fenders, do some research. But what do I know, I’m just a girl. NC is wild. Good luck!

  I went in for an inspection today and John was helpful, nice, knowledgeable and quick! First time here and will definitely go back because of John and his customer service. :)
